Anchorage People Mover has adopted a Spokane idea in bus system change over

Today, October 23rd, 2017.  Anchorage People Mover has launched a Spokane Transit idea in bus system change over.  They have renumbered all the routes.  Some places will receive less service than they do now.  Taxis will have more business in South Anchorage and Eagle River due to reduced service on the transit network.  Some areas will have service longer which will make it easier for people to work longer hours.  Here is the question how will having a bus every 15 minutes work on the afternoon and evenings some route like the new route 25 the old route 75 this is the longest route in the system.  You will see a future blog on this issue depending on how it works out.  Commuters enjoy your revised transit system. 

Tennants at Northway Mall have to close entrances to keep prices down

Major retailers like Carrs and Joann Fabrics have to close their mall entrances to discouraged shoplifting.  This is a public safety hazard in the winter time.  Mao Tosi the mall manager has tried to get these retailers to open the doors.  Northway Mall has even offered reduced rent for Anchorage Police Department for a substation to reduce theft they have refused there offer.

Until SB 91 is repealed these entrances will not be reopened.   Please call your legislature to repeal SB 91 to repeal this bill to get these entrances open. 

Insurance executives should not be taking taxpayers money for services

In order for the Unaffordable Care Act of 2010 to pass congress without major advertising from the insurance industry.  Barack Obama the genius got all the major insurance executives to the table in the White House in 2009.  For this to work hush money had to paid out to people in order to make sure the insurance industry was on board with the idea.  Recently Donald Trump through executive order cut off the subsidies this will allow this act to be repealed when the industry is not on the take.  Then we can concentrate on allow health insurance to be able by putting more competition into the industry. 

Message to United Nations please stop funding terrorist

Donald Trump recently told the United Nations Internal Monetary Fund quit funding the nations that sponsor terrorism like Iran, Syria and Yemen with loans.  Soon the United Nations will need to move their headquarters to Brussells because UN headquarters in New York will not shelter an agency who sponsors terrorism.  United Nations does not own the property in Manhattan where is located is on loan by the United States since 1945.

Colin your performance since the 2013 season has sucked that is why you are not getting calls not your stance on the national anthem.  Americans support your stance on social issues of equal justice on the facts.  Here are the facts more black people are killed by their own race in gang wars then in confrontation with police for not cooperating with police. 

World War II soldiers sacrificed their abilities for players to kneel at the anthem

As a grandchild of a late World War II veteran Colonel Bob James Swenson who lost his hearing while serving in Korea from 1944-1946.  Currently some NFL players are kneeling at the national anthem to protest against racial justice with law enforcement.  They believe that America is allowing this behavior by cops.  Allow these players to stand for what they believe in they are affecting them in the game of football.  

Planned Parenthood and Public Broadcasting will survive without federal funding

If you search this blog under Public Broadcasting I call for government to stop fund this media.  Planned Parenthood can also survive without public funding.  Here is the truth even though the Democrats, AARP and other liberal special interest will not tell you is.  Federal funding only consist of less than 10 percent of the total budget of these organizations.  Public Broadcasting and Planned Parenthood are mostly funded by private donations and endowments.  Clinics will not shut down due to lack of funding and Public TV will not go to test pattern if funding goes away.  To save taxpayers money let the consumer make donations to public broadcasting and Planned Parenthood.  Why should I have to pay for family planning services and a broadcasting network.  Planned Parenthood will still provide services for female and male patients at a reduced cost due to charter organization model which based on income of individual.  Lack of or no funding will no change the services of this organization.  Public Broadcasting will continue to provide quality program without federal funds and news coverage that other networks can not provide.  I do not pay for CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS and ABC News why should I pay for NPR and PBS News.  If PBS and NPR do not have federal funding they can actually do quality news better not on taxpayers dime.
