Spokane will see a new face on the city council
Will Michael Cathcart bring a fresh perspective to the Spokane City Council. This blog will be watching to see if he votes with his district or will vote with the rest of the current clowns. At least he will not have Ben Stuckart giving the marching orders from the mayors office. Will he get along with Nadine Woodward and Cindy Wendle if she ends up council president. Michael we will be watching you and congratulations on your win. Enjoy your next four years.
Tim Benn campaigned the old fashioned way
The last time Spokane has seen a campaign where a campaign depended on contributions of individuals was over 20 years when Steve Thompson ran his city council campaign in 1997 only spending less than $700 and earning only 41 percent of the citywide vote. Tim Benn will be a future asset for the city council. This time he lost to Michael Cathcart.

Recall Dunleavy denied due to lack of evidence
Yesterday, November 4th, 2019 the Alaska Division of Elections rejected the Recall Dunleavy petition to lack of evidence now they are planning to force the division to accept the petition so the can start the second. Remember this crowd wants to make sure you never get a full permanent fund dividend. This is a campaigned fund by outside special interest not Alaskans.

Religious shelter exempted from Anchorage Equal Opportunity Ordinance
Ruling from a federal judge says the shelter has the right to decide that the woman is pure in order to stay at the shelter. Downtown Soup Kitchen is exempt from participating in the ordinance that allow drag queens from entering any bathroom they choose. This action cost city taxpayers $100,001 that is $100,000 to the Alliance Foundation and $1 to the shelter.
Revak appointment may not be confirmed til November
Alaska State Senate will wait til late November to confirm Josh Revak to the senate if Pop goes the Cathy Giessel decides that he could join their club. It will be interesting if Josh Revak is chosen and not Laddie Shaw even though they both have the same thinking that both support a fully funded PFD. But then having Josh would allow Pat Higgins to capture the seat in 2020 against a very weak Republican opponent. The other reason is because by not confirming before then. The governor will not be able to call a special session before the regular session.

Merchant charging the customer for a bag is voluntary
According to the Ordinance 2018-63 it is voluntary that the merchant can charge the customer to put the item in a paper bag. The fines are only if a plastic bag appears at the check out line. Here is the link proving the charge is voluntary http://www.muni.org/Departments/SWS/Customer_Service/Documents/plastic%20bag%20ordinance.pdf

Please rename this road to honor Chris Birch
Please tell the Anchorage Assembly to rename Birch Road to Chris Birch Road. The addresses would stay on Birch Rd just the name of the road to honor Chris Birch.
Anchorage Police should not be counting homeless people in Anchorage

Meg Zaletel's solution to the homeless camp problem
Meg Zaletel's solution to the Anchorage homeless problem is to put a portable toilet where a homeless camp is located. Let's also do other things like give them an address make them property tax payers for instance. There is a homeless camp on the Chester Creek Trail near Arctic Blvd. Meg's solution let's put a portable toilet there. I have an idea let's give it an address like 724 W. Chester Creek Trailhead and send the camp a tax bill this way they pay property taxes. If you see a portable toilet on the trail in the future it is help future voters of Anchorage who want to keep the city filfthy. Remember the law says 72 hours to clear a homeless camp in Anchorage.
El Paso Walmart shooting was planned due to company design
The real reason El Paso Walmart shooting was successful because Walmart has a blanket design for each type of there stores. He already knew the layout by studying his local Walmart near Plano in suburban Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. He drove 880 miles to El Paso to commit this racist act down Interstate 20 then Interstate 10. He also had mental issues and racist motive against Mexicans. Donald Trump had nothing to do with this shooting. Gun control would have not prevented this shooting. Just remember criminals do not follow the law so increased background checks would have not prevented this tragedy. These killers have a bad mental state.
Those who favor that oil companies pay their fair share are also I want to tax you crowd
It is just like recently Jason Grenn who was defeated in a recent election against Sara Rasmussen has proposed rank choice voting for primary elections. Had he observed how this was an failure in Pierce County in my home state of Washington this is where Tacoma resides in. He would though twice about this idea. This is make sure Alaska becomes more like the Lower 48. Most people left the Lower 48 not to return to its policies. Had he proposed the Cajan primary idea this idea actually works and has not changed the elections in Washington state at all.
If this comes back on the ballot again please vote it down because it is necessary to do so.

Muldoon and Hillside State Senator breaks promise to her voters
Cathy Giessel promised during her reelection campaign she would vote to put the money back in your pocket that was taken from you here is the truth back in 2016 she supported the money grab and did nothing to stop it. She has voted to tax her citizens in Muldoon and Anchorage about 20k.
Here is a link on the video of her broken campaign promise she made in 2016 https://www.facebook.com/172460799476095/videos/1131009506954548/
Here is the new idea most of her constituents think of her. Out pop the Cathy. Notice the piggy bank is your PFD money going bye bye

Both Alaska Bush Legislatures have misrespented their people
Both Alaska legislatures have misrepresented their residents in rural Alaska. They voted to tax their residents the past two years almost $10,000 for a family of 4 for the past two years. You figure in the poorest districts that money coming back to the residents would be the best investment that is not the case. Also remember when Bryce Edgmon the current speaker also convinced Alaska Native leaders that if you support an Income tax for Alaska your dividends who will not be counted as income in the Alaska State Income tax proposal. Had they believed that public safety was important they would have propose that Alaska Native Corporations pay for it.
Please vote against these legislatures if you want to see the money that is owed to you rural Alaska.
Please vote against these legislatures if you want to see the money that is owed to you rural Alaska.
Juneau this Story continues to tax you in the legislature
Juneau last year elected Andi Story to represent them in the legislature. Andi delivered to them was extra taxes by refusing to vote for a full PFD. Andi voted to tax every resident almost $5,000 for a family of 4. The exact amount was $4,560. She also took money from Great Alaska Scam dba as Great Alaska Schools to not hold school administrators accountable for Alaska education. Her favorite sandwich is the Beltrami because it comes with cash. Juneau in 2020 please vote out Andi.
Epstein victims should be paid before any heirs get paid in Epstein fortune
Michael Cathcart wants to be the everything candidate for Spokane City Council
Michael Cathcart is the candidate who wants to be liked by everybody. He is endorsed by Ben Stuckart, Nadine Woodward and most special interest. However unlike Tim Benn he is not endorsed by anyone with common sense. He is likely to vote for to continue funding for the bridge to Hookerville aka the bridge to Gonzaga. If you want real change in Spokane you vote for Tim Benn for city council to represent NE Spokane.

Who is really responsible for the rate increases for the Alaska Pioneer Homes?
First of all the last four years the Democrats have been in control of the Alaska State House. They have funded these Alaska Pioneer Home with the highest amount of medicaid dollars along with the Walker Administration. Now in December 2018 we have a new sheriff in town with Mike Dunleavy. They have decided to be fiscally responsible with medicaid money. The Alaska House Majority committee lead by Geran Tarr and Ivy Sponholz decided to raise the rates of the Alaska Pioneer Homes by not submitting a reduction in operation cost of the operation. Refusing to bill native corporations to take care of their elders who are shareholders. Remember this is due to the handshake agreement with the speaker of house Bryce Edgmon who exempted native corporations dividends from the Alaska Income Tax proposal.
Remember Zack Fields, Ivy Sponholz and Geran Tarr raised the rates of the Alaska Pioneer Homes.

Plastic Bag will be an official outlaw in Anchorage starting September 15th
September 15th, 2019 Anchorage Mayor Ethan Berkowitz who just came back from eating Japanese food from Japan. He took an absent East Anchorage Assembly member Forrest Dunbar and his sidekick Chris Constant who was invited on the trip because if he was in town he may delay this arrest ordered by the mayor. Chief Justin Doll has order the arrest of this plastic criminal. Customers will have to pay a maximum 50 cents per transaction which is 10 cents a bag up to 50 cents to be provided a paper bags unless you provide your Quest card to a participating retailer then the taxpayers will pay your tax for you. Low income families will have to pay the tax at places like Kohl's and at home improvement store.
I predict many low income people will be frustrated that in order to save 50 cents to have a paper bag you will have to provide your Quest to the cashier to not pay the bag fee.
The merchants can not keep the money they collect themselves they donate the proceeds to a charity that benefit the homeless or the local food bank. This is a back door way of making sure these non profits like Beans Cafe keep receiving government funds.
We need to elect common sense representatives to the assembly or gather enough signatures to put a vote of the people and let public decide of the plastic bag should continue to be banned.

Spokane can not afford these characters at city hall
Want a solution to make Spokane better you elect Nadine Woodward Mayor, Cindy Wendle Council President, Then for the district council seats you elect Andy Rathbun in the West Central Spokane district, Tim Benn for the NE Spokane district and Tony Kiepe for South Spokane district.

Let's open Spokane city hall back to the people
For Council president you elect Cindy Wendel you will actually allow free speech again at city hall and citizens will be allow to question the government. Breann will just continue the insanity that King Stuckart has done as council president in the past 8 years. Imagine him and Stuckart with him in the mayors office would that be a problem. You put Cindy and Nadine in their people will be listened too. Imagine two moms in charge at city hall the issues will be taken care off.
Last topic on this post only pertains to NE Spokane residents only. If you elect Tim Benn to the city council. You will have a citizen look out the interest of your neighbors instead of someone who has a useless college degree and wants to be friends with everybody but have a secret agenda behind to keep the status quo of screwing the citizen. You add Tim Benn to Cindy Wendle as Council President and Nadine Woodward as Mayor you will put the power of Spokane back to the people where it should be.

Spokane needs a council president who is not part of Spokane's problem
Cindy Wendle has not been part of the problem that has happened. She is a mom who cares about her community and she will not limit peoples speech like the last council president. She will listen to the people and understands what is like to be a public servant. If you elect Nadine Woodward at the mayors office and Cindy as council president it will show that city hall wants to listen to you not shut you up.

West Central and NW Spokane needs Andy Rathbun to serve them
Andy Rathbun is young active grandfather who wants to serve his community. Andy is ready to listen to your concerns and will bring honesty to the office will save you tax dollars and wants to make Spokane more accessible to the citizen
South Spokane needs Tony Kiepe to represent them on the Spokane City Council
South Spokane needs Tony Kiepe he will be a breath of fresh air to the city council. South Spokane needs a council member that will represent them and will save them money instead of ignoring them like the current council has done. Vote for Tony Kiepe for City Council
We need a citizen representative on the Spokane City Council
Tim Benn is not like other people who is seeking political office. He is a common folk person who wants to serve his neighbors and if you elect him he will serve you and not the special interest. Spokane needs more citizens like Tim to step up. Vote Tim Benn for City Council on November 5th
Spokane needs a mayor who has been serving her community for the past 30 years by giving them information
Now Nadine wants to serve her community in a different way as Spokane's mayor. I believe she will bring a citizens perspective to the office instead having political experience. She will also treat the citizen with respect as a news personality and reporter she has always been good at listening also as someone who has been a faithful student of the Rick Rydell Public Servant Academy. She wants to make the roads accessible and allows citizens to have access to their government. Nadine will be a good asset as Spokane's Mayor. Please vote for Nadine Woodward for Spokane's Mayor on November 5th.

If East Anchorage elected Liz Snyder would taxed families almost $5000 this year
Last year I gave this woman my vote. I realized that I voted for Liz by emotion instead supporting the incumbent Lance Pruitt. She lost by only 181 votes which this blog got her there while she was eating Beltrami sandwiches on the side. Lance after paying attention actually voted against taxing his residence an additional $4,560 for a family of 4 which. Liz would have costed East Anchorage families by voting to cap the permanent fund dividend at $1600 so her special friends could get funded. Liz cares more about her friends at the University over efficiency. This was not what she told during the campaign she wanted to bring transparency and efficiency to state government. I am glad that East Anchorage choose Lance or Liz because. East Anchorage needs a representative who is tough on crime and will be fiscally responsible. This blog will not endorse this liar again. I hope she rethinks challenging Lance Pruitt because this blog has the final say who represents East Anchorage and Stuckagain Heights. Liz not ready to represent anyone in the state house. Liz is a great mom but not at the state house.

Let's hope Anna finally gets justice from her attacker.
Anna Sattler has been waiting for justice since January 2001 when she raped by a musher named Carmen Perzechino, Jr who finished the Iditarod in 2004. She escaped from her attacker in van. Recently the US Marshall service had arrested this piece of trash in the Philippines. What this idiot did not know is that a commonwealth agreement was established in 1946 in exchange for military help in the future. Filipino police would immediately surrender any fugitive of justice to American authorities once caught. I hope that Anna will see justice in the future and this musher sees is a jail cell.
Anna has not let this event in her life in 2001 define her. She has been an advocate for Alaskan Native Traditions and had a TV show called Anna's Alaska. She is currently the community liaison for Alaska Native Village Cooperative which provides cost efficient electricity to the Alaska Bush.

Had Governor Dunleavy actually set the Permanent Fund Dividend this year
Who is funding the Recall Dunleavy campaign?
Who is funding this campaign. Cook Inlet Regional Inc. Special interest like the Alaska AFL-CIO, Alaska Democrat Party, NEA Alaska. Some of the signature gatherers are being paid by the Alaska Center. They want to elect a governor so they can have your PFD not you. Remember Alaska you are bigger than them. Dunleavy is Alaska's governor not theirs.

Finally justice for Shelley Connolly
Shelley was killed on January 7, 1978 and a bunch of tourist found her body at Beluga Point south of Anchorage. Her killing was remained unsolved for over 40 years until a recent arrest of Donald McQuade at the Gresham Police Station near Portland. Alaska State Troopers just arrested Don McQuade and charged him with her murder after some DNA match and will soon face charges in Alaska.
Here is a good example why background checks do not work
Recently Ammon Bundy went into a gun store in Emmett, Idaho and was denied the right to purchase a handgun on Saturday, August 31st. He was cleared of all federal charges dealing with the Malheur refuge standoff on January 2016 that killed his father and charges were dropped in the Nevada due to mistrail. They forgot to remove him from the database. Legally he should been able to purchase a handgun. This is why background checks do not work because of mistakes like this. Background checks do not save lives and they do not prevent crime. Mr Bundy should be a purchase any handgun he chooses to protect his family. Please call your congress tell you support background checks you go bye bye.
Vince Beltrami your job as Alaska AFL-CIO Chief is to represent the workers
Vince Beltrami your job as AFL-CIO is to represent workers in labor agreements not to suck the tax money and buy politicians like your organization has done. You feed elected politicians your famous Beltrami sandwiches to get them to vote your way. Your organization has also bought borough assembly all across this state to get your way. Remember Vince you are not the governor of Alaska Mike Dunleavy is. Just represent the worker in collective bargaining not buy politicians and corrupt them.

Most Alaskans have said no change in the PFD formula

University of Alaska needs to accept the restructure agreed to by the Governor
Recently the Governor and the University came to understanding that a restructure is necessary to keep the University functioning that way it is suppose to.
The best way to reduce administration cost that can be done by having only having two campuses where the administration would be anchored at. Both UAF and UAA will continue their campus identities. Seawolves and Nanooks. Fairbanks would be north administration and Anchorage would be south administration. UAS would be downgraded to Juneau Community College due to population of the region and enrollment. All the community colleges in Valdez, Kenai Peninsula, Mat-Su College, Kodiak College as well as Juneau the newest community college students will have the option to take university class at their campus or take their classes online through a computer. Other places will also have the option of taking classes online through the two universities in Anchorage and Fairbanks.
Sports Teams
The south and north campus will have their sports teams no need to consolidate these in any way. Most athletic programs are self sufficient and can pay for themselves.
Reducing or selling buildings on each campus
This can get complicated because some of these buildings are monthly endowments to the University of Alaska. Example the Alaska Airlines Center. Alaska Airlines pays UAA money each month to keep their name on that building. Sell that building you lose that endowment. Endowments are another way colleges and universities make income this income can help a college survive over public funding.
Consolidated administrations work my Alumni the Community Colleges of Spokane has been doing it between two local community colleges since 1968 between two campus Spokane Falls Community College and Spokane Community College it has worked very well. They only have one sports team called the Sasquatch. Spokane Falls is west administration and Spokane Community is east administration. Main office is on Greene Street.
This restructure will help the university and keep it functioning for future generations

Businesses should not pay to transport drunk people in Fairbanks
Downtown Fairbanks businesses are the victims of the drunk people causing a problem at their business. Why should they pay for it when they did not cause the problem. Fairbanks officials should charge non profits instead for the city transporting the drunks to their locations. That would like asking a rape victim to pay for the services of their rapist. Please tell Fairbanks officials to charge the non profits not the businesses for drunk people removal.
Laddie Shaw parachutes his way to the State Senate
Recently last Friday, August 30th, 2019 Governor Mike Dunleavy choose current representative Laddie Shaw to fill the late Senator Chris Birch's seat. This is a good choice his values fit the district well. This may change the way the senate thinks about the issues like the permanent fund dividend and taxes. Giessel lead senate has one less person on the side of massive government. Next session as Laddie parachutes himself into the senate chambers.

Environmentalist cancel wolf management meetings across the Washington State
The Washington
Department Fish of Wildlife was planning a series of meeting across the
state to address the issue of Wolf pack management. Many in Eastern
Washington especially the ranchers already have a solution once the wolf
comes on the property. One shot wolf dead. Environmentalist were
planning on storming these meetings and disrupting them. Plus most of
these are paid by organizations to do this at $15 an hour. They feel
the wolf is god. They probably pray to it.

Andrew Luck retires to preserve his body for the future
Bottom picture is me in a beard in Luck jersey discounted from Excalibur Sports I bought a year. Andrew Luck brought the Indianapolis Colts almost every year he played for them. He was recruited by Indianapolis Colts winning super bowl quarterback Peyton Manning to be his successor. Andrew had been mentoring Jacoby Brissett who will be the face of the franchise and you can also think Tom Brady who started his career. I would like to see the Indianapolis Colts back to the AFC Championships which Luck brought you to back in 2014. Andrew is preserving his body to help his kids in the future to think about I bet you he will always be part of Indianapolis future.
Indianapolis Colts if it was not for Jim Irsay your city would be nothing more than a city with wheat fields. He gave you a gift instead
moves the team from Baltimore to Indianapolis
drafts Peyton Manning in 1998 who wins a Super Bowl
Who helps Irsay recruit Andrew Luck in 2012 becomes his replacement since he spent 2011 in injured reserve.
Then 2017 while Jacoby Brissett was traded to Indianapolis Colts he was a student of the Tom Brady Quarterback Academy he actually transferred to the Andrew Luck academy who graduated from the Peyton Manning Academy in Louisiana.
Mentors Jacob Brissett
Who will win a Super Bowl for Indianapolis Colts hopefully will beat Tom Brady this year. Go Indianapolis Colts.

Pros and Cons of the final candidates of Chris Birch's State Senate seat
All three finalist are pro full Permanent Fund Dividend supporters and all are mountaineers like the late Senator Chris Birch.
David Arthur Donley
Pros about David
David has served in the legislature before for 16 years from 1987 to 2003. He understands the concerns of his neighborhood. He would be a great friend for teachers and educators in the legislatures. He also was a fiscal conservative while serving in the legislature.
Cons about David
If Dave is selected there will be less common sense on the Anchorage School Board. Andy and Starr could select one of their Beltrami sandwich eating friends to replace him on the school board
Al Fogle
Pros about Al
Albert is very compassionate about serving his community. He could provide a fresh perspective in the state senate.
Cons about Al
Albert is a homosexual this will not fit well with the Jim Minnery crowd who believe family is being important. Anchorage Baptist Temple could also find a candidate who lives in the district to challenge him in the primary. This is the reason he lost to Suzanne LaFrance in the 2017 Assembly race.
Laddie Shaw
Pros about Laddie
Laddie Shaw is a newcomer to Alaska politics. He is great parachute jumper. He is very familiar with the current Alaska budget and issues due to his recent election to the state house in 2018.
Cons about Laddie
Not enough experience in the state legislature.
I am sure Governor Dunleavy will choose one of these three great gentlemen on the list submitted by the Alaska Republican Party.
