No on site consumption of Marijuana in Anchorage soon
Voters in Anchorage Municipal Election have decided that they do not want people stoned coming out of marijuana establishments. Voters have decided by over 60 percent not to allow these establishments. This is great for public safety.
Two Assembly Races still too close to call
We have two Assembly races that are too close to call.

The other one tightened today which was in District 6 covering South Anchorage between Suzanne LaFrance and Rick Castillo. Suzanne is still leading by 283 votes which by April 8th's totals she was leading by 378 votes. This race could be a close one maybe in Rick's favor. April 10th totals Rick lost all the gains he had yesterday April 9th totals. Suzanne is leading by 376 votes over Rick. The April 13th totals put Suzanne ahead of Rick by 447 votes. The April 14th totals put Suzanne ahead of Rick by 353 votes. We shall see how the late results roll in on this one.

We shall see if these incumbents can hold on to their seats or will we have two new people on the assembly.

Could Joe Biden choose Lisa Murkowski as his running mate
Joe Biden express earlier he would like a Republican woman as his running mate. Lisa Murkowski is one of a few US Senators who does not like Trump's agenda. Remember she was appointed to this position by daddy because she had positions that were pretty liberal in the state legislature. Remember she wanted to cap the PFD along with Berkowitz and Halcro before the 1999 statewide vote on the matter. She was against daddy's deal in the legislature. Remember Joe Biden needs Alaska's 3 electoral votes. Joe and Lisa together may actually deliver. Remember if Lisa says no there always an unknown named Cathy Giessel who will gladly serve as the vice president of a major ticket.
Looking for common sense person to become state representative in Alaska's District 40
People of Northwest Alaska and North Slope Borough would like a representative who will not vote to tax them out of there permanent fund dividend. It will be hard to find such a person since NPR stations are the only radio stations that broadcast in Kotzebue, Utquiavik and the North Slope Borough. There has to be someone who has common sense in this part of Alaska. If you are from this area and you can serve this part of Alaska without taxing them. This area will thank you.
Congrats to the reelection of Austin Quinn-Davidson and Pete Petersen to the Anchorage Assembly
Congrats to Austin Quinn-Davidson in your first election for a full term on the Anchorage Assembly and Pete Petersen for your final term on the Anchorage Assembly. I wish they will listen to common sense people and vote the right away instead of voting for what the labor unions and special interest want. Austin I predicted would be the lone survivor in the conservative sweep due to not much opposition and Pete was able to escape a major challenge from a conservative Monty Dyson. Hopefully you will not have to find him at Muldoon Saturday Market to get your Assembly questions answered.
