Her accomplishments are cheaper taxi cab permits, lower leases for drivers against owners.
She is currently serving on Alaska Fish and Game board representing the South Central Alaska region representing dip netters and subsistence users. She was the past president of the Anchorage Cab Drivers Association and Anchorage Tlignit and Haida Indians of Alaska. She was the past president of the Alaska Native Sisterhood Camp 87.
She is very active in making sure the Pebble Mine is never developed.
At February 24th, 2020 meeting of the Anchorage Transportation Commission will approve the first ever Alaskan native to ever own a permit. Congrats to Lynette Moreno-Hinz because this proves with hard work and sweat anybody can own a taxicab permit.
