As many of you many the author of this blog the month of December was usually a happy month for this author. Because you have Christmas then the authors birthday. That year this author was going a personal time along with other family members. Four years earlier we had an over the phone conversation he mentioned he wanted no grandchildren to be present at his service. He felt his grandchildren should remember him as the fun grandpa he was while they were growing up. He loved every grandchild equally. Due to Aunt Patty and Uncle Jim's health we made an exception for Karianne and Billy because he would wanted someone there for that wing of the family. He asked the grandchildren to honor him in their own way. He said to me since I had the best friendship with Dave Battey my 2nd cousin. He felt I should get a memorial to honor his commitment to his country in our hometown of Snoqualmie. That is how we started that part from the Marion wing of the family at the Snoqualmie Veterans Memorial brick. I chose to honor him at a family Christmas party where I mention our family thanks you for their prayers at the time. He only wanted the 4 kids at the time of the service. He appreciated each grandchild's accomplishment especially mine due to being the special needs child because I became successful and continue that idea fighting to people less than myself. I was born with Autism I have shown that disability does not mean that. He is also one day the boss in a series of books I plan on writing to a barista and a sidekick fighting crime or bring people to heaven who were bullied who's headquarters is a coffee stand in Midtown Anchorage. Later the family got over my decision not to go to Grand Junction instead go to a Christmas Party in Monroe and tour my hometown of Snoqualmie and North Bend. It was his wishes that his grandchildren not attend. Granddad is looking over us proud of all of his family. He had an impact on everybody at the time.
