Alaska want other transportation options in Anchorage

If you travel to Anchorage on business or pleasure.  If you are an Alaskan resident want another option for transportation.  Please sign this petition to allow Uber in Anchorage and remove the cease and desist order in Anchorage.  Allow alternative transportation and allow for competition in the Anchorage cab industry.  Go to https://action.uber.org/anchorage/ sign the petition and then go to http://amyforanchorage.com/ help her get to the mayors office she supports free enterprise.  If you are in Anchorage vote for her on April 7th. 

Anchorage military people not happy with suspension of Uber Alaska service

Many members of the Anchorage military would book their trip on Uber Alaska to pick them up from trips from bars, airport or other destinations from Joint Base Elemendorf Richardson.  Their drivers are professionals and do not cuss at their customers.  Their cars are clean.  Hopefully the Anchorage cabs will be more cleaner they have been in the past. 

Cities who have allowed Uber and Lyft to compete have eliminated all gypsy cabs

Cities that have allowed Uber and Lyft have eliminated the ability of gypsy cabs in their municipality.  Lower the amount to get a permit to a reasonable amount to allow a person to get a taxi permit.  Competition improves quality of service and improves customer service.  When you improve service you improve the taxi industry as a whole. 

Anchorage needs 50 additional taxicab permits to deal with customer need

When Uber Alaska entered the market in November it has been proven that Anchorage needs 50 additional permits immediately at the administrative fee.  Wait times are going to increase without an alternative transportation like Uber Alaska.  The reason that New Years Eve was not as a problem this year because Uber was there to help out for waiting customers.  Anchorage taxicabs need more competition so customers can get better service for Anchorage taxicab market. 

Thanks Anchorage Taxicab Permit Owners Association driving out a competition

Thanks to the lies of the Anchorage Taxicab Permit Owners Association.  Uber Alaska has suspended service in Anchorage so Alaska Yellow Cab and Anchorage Checker Cab can go back to providing rude service to customers.  They have said that Uber is not safe when they are safe.  Their service will show that Anchorage needs more taxicabs in the city.  Now expect more wait time for taxicabs in Anchorage as a result of this.
