Bernie Sanders is narrowly winning the Spokane County Democrat Primary by 431 votes over Joe Biden. I guess the progressive leaning city council and the aggressive get out the vote effort of college students enrolled at Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga University for Bernie has paid off. We shall see if the vote by mail results will continue to be profitable for Bernie in this close primary for him and Joe Biden.
Joe Biden is narrowly leading in three counties. He is leading in my hometown county of King by 5000 votes and is narrowly leading in Lewis and Grays Harbor by 29 votes over Bernie Sanders. In Grays Harbor county this county is normally a Democrat county has elected a Republican state representative in the 19th legislative district and this county went for Trump in 2016. Remember Grays Harbor is still recovering from an economic depression from timber cutting restrictions in Olympic National Forest and Park. There is cheap property in Lewis and Grays Harbor county for people to move into as well. We shall see who the winner is when the ballots continue to trickle in.
Bernie Sanders has won the Kittitas County Democrat primary. I guess mostly people from Roslyn and the campus of Central Washington University that voted because I predicted this county to be a Joe Biden county. The truth is Bernie has won most counties in Central Washington except for Douglas and Benton. He is also leading in Spokane County. He is narrowing losing in King, Lewis and Grays Harbor Counties to Joe Biden. We shall see as the mail in ballots come in if he can hold in winning 17 counties.
As ballots continued to counted in Washington State. Joe Biden is currently leading over Bernie Sanders by 16,000 voters. He has won 18 counties and is leading in 3 counties over Bernie. We shall see in the next couple of days as the mail in ballots continue to come in to all 39 counties auditors to be counted.
Here is an upset that Bernie Sanders won the North Dakota primary. I wonder if the new residents due to recent oil boom lead to the recent Bernie Sanders win in this normal conservative state.
Joe Biden won the Idaho Democrat Primary which does not surprise me due to the conservative nature of the people living in this state. He is currently narrowing losing in Washington State. He also lost in a surprise in North Dakota.
