Anchorage mayor caves into environmentalist over Elmore Road

Anchorage Mayor caves into environmentalist over public safety over building of Elmore Road.  He does not want Alaska Pacific University to enjoy what UAA does which is door to door service to their campus facility.  He also does not want a faster way for East Anchorage residents to get to the Alaska Native Medical Center.  He says he is for the health of Alaskan natives.  By opposing this road he is not.  He has decided to listen to the communist over at the Alaska Center for the Environment over common sense Alaskans.  Please contact city hall urge Mayor Berkowitz to change his mind consider public safety over bike trails. 

Obama administration is incorrect in its reading of Title 9

Recently the Obama administration through its education department has order school districts across the country that transgender students across the country should be able to change in the gender they identify with not what they are born with.  This can lead to legalized rape and pediophila among school children and adults that supervise them.  This also puts a competitive disadvantage to other teams.  Obamacare has made it so taxpayers in states like Oregon can pay for a child to transition into the other sex.  First of all if your genitals are male you are male.  They need to except that fact.  If they want to be in the bathroom like the other sex then have a sex change operation make the genitals look like that first.  Why should genetic females have to ask especially if they are young why does Ava's genitals look like their brother's not like there's.  School district should require that you use the restroom you are born with period.  We need to reverse this ruling even if it means the school district no longer take federal funds to stand for morality in public education. 

Panda Express has arrived in Alaska

Sunday, November 22nd a national chain restaurant arrived in Alaska for the first time at Tikahatknu Commons in NE Anchorage.  Many customers came to see what this place had to offer including myself.  I actually shook the managers hand the day before welcome to Alaska.  People were hugging the inflatable Panda.  There was even someone in a Panda suit rubbing his belly saying hungry eat in there.  Not a place to watch football if you want to watch multiple games like I do on a Sunday.  Just like McDonald's only has one channel.  This place will give Kenny's Kitchen, Subway, Pita Pit and McDonald's some serious competition.  There dinning inside is great just like McDonald's.  There menu is kind of like an Ala Carte Menu.  If you want some good chinese cuisine go to Panda Express.  By the way environmentalist no dead or live Panda's served in here. 

I am just a book Wasilla Citizens

People in Wasilla have nothing better to do then to object to a book in the library called This is Gay.  It teaches a lifestyle that most people in Wasilla do not share.  Get over it Wasilla.  Library is a place of idea not where you can censor an idea you do not agree with.  Please Wasilla Library board consider that this book may help people in Wasilla who want to have an alternative lifestyle.  If you do not agree with this lifestyle.  Remember you can either buy your books elsewhere or check out something else.  It is not like the library is force you to read the book.  I say "This Book is Gay" stays on the shelf at the Wasilla Public Library.  If this book is in the childrens section then move it to the adult sciences and anatomy areas this will hopefully satisfy critics.  Those that are closed minded that want to ban the book shame you. 

Amy Demboski's remarks on the spice ordinance

At the November 10, 2015 Assembly meeting Amy Demboski before voting for the ordinance 2015-123S which became law was voted in favor by all members of the assembly.  Amy had put Catholic Charities on notice they are responsible for actions on their property.  If this happened at a bar the Anchorage Assembly would be filing a complaint with the Alcohol Beverage Control Board if you do not believe ask why Rum Runners is no longer in business.  When a non profit has the funds for their own security refused to get some that is a problem especially when they are taking taxpayer funds.  Since this comment was made Beans Cafe and Brother Francis has had less calls for ambulance and police service from the municipality.  Amy Demboski was bold in making this comment and this is why she is so awesome for Eagle River and Chugiak area.  Those that criticize her tactics do not know the real Amy Demboski.  I like Catholic Charities they do great things.  I was brought up Catholic was originally baptized as a young child at the Old Lady of Sorrows Church in Snoqualmie east of Seattle.  I am glad she says this because boldness is what we need in our leaders. She also believes that Beans Cafe and Brother Francis do great things by giving people a warm place to sleep and to feed the hungry in Anchorage.  I have always had a compassion to feed the homeless. 

Clement Richards will be next Northwest Arctic Borough Mayor

When Kotzebue's favorite son Reggie Joule choose at the last minute not to seek reelection two weeks before the October municipal election.  This lead to a runoff election which in November 3rd in which Clement Richards won the election to be the next borough mayor.  I wish him luck in leading this arctic borough I hope like his predecessor will ask for gods guidance in guiding this awesome borough in Northwestern Alaska. 

North Bend voters decided we need new faces on their city council

North Bend voters decided they were not happy with two members of there city council.  They decided to fire the two city council members Dee Williamson and David Cook with two new members Brenden Elwood and Trevor Kostanich in their place.  Hopefully these three newly elected council members will lead North Bend in the right direction keep it the city that people would like to go to. 

Cle Elum will have a new mayor coming next year

Cle Elum voters overwhelmingly elected Jay McGowan to become the next mayor of Cle Elum.  Charlie Glondo choose not to run for reelection.  He won over 100 votes against Jim Eidemiller a long standing councilman who once was the city's police chief.  I believe Cle Elum will do well under Jay's leadership for the next four years.  This blog will be following what decision this guy makes.  He makes the wrong ones this blog will let you know.  Congratulations Jay McGowan in becoming the next mayor of Cle Elum.

Identity convinces Anchorage Assembly to adopt an anti-christian ordinance

Identity a special interest group convinced the Anchorage Assembly on September 29th, 2015 to vote an ordinance against the majority of the citizens to adopt anti christian ordinance.  This ordinance is called AO 2015-96 this ordinance allows people who can go into the bathroom in the gender they identify with versus the gender they are born with it.  This ordinance will allow pedophiles to shield their activity and attack children in a public restroom and pretend they are transgender.  This ordinance also violates the 1st and 4th amendment of the US Constitution by making it so religious schools can not use their doctrine in hiring staff.  Small business can not use their faith to make a business decision.  Anchorage is already a diverse not city this ordinance make it a perverted one.  This ordinance will be repealed at the ballot box on April 2016 along with some assembly member who voted for it like Dick Triani and Paul Honeman.  Please participate in future assembly elections we can repeal this bad law hanging over Anchorage. 

Stuckart and Stratton's hidden agenda to Spokane

There is a hidden agenda that Ben Stuckart and Karen Stratton does not want you to know.  They say publicly they do not support Spokane Proposition One.  Truth is while on the Spokane City Council they both have supported making this city a sanctuary city.  Screw telling federal law that an illegal immigrant is in the city illegally they need them for votes.  They also support mandatory sick leave which will drive up the cost of businesses.  They are also card carrying members of the Spokane Democrat Party.  Please do not believe the lies of Stuckart and Stratton.  You can avoid this by voting for John Ahern for City Council President and Evan Verduin for City Council.  Listen to the people  of Spokane and support Spokane's 8th man they are your voice.  As a original member of Spokane's Gang of Nine this group's predecessor back in the 1990's.  Now George McGrath and myself from currently from Alaska.  He is the center of the movement and I am the Citizen Z end of this movement. 

Ethan's transportation across the Knik Arm bridge

That trolley car is what Ethan Berkowitz the current mayor of Anchorage would like to put tracks on the Knik Arm bridge.  Then he wants to call it the Sarah Palin Bridge after he and his friend Governor Bill Walker build it.  Even the Alaska delegation will finance it.  Vern Halter the newly elected Mat Su Borough will celebrate the new Sarah Palin Bridge.  This bridge has a gotta ya then hopefully Donald Trump will be elected president.  He can say this was Trumped by the people.  Ethan will have a trolley lane in the middle so all the liberals can ride to Wasilla from Anchorage. 

An honest Panhandler in Anchorage

Usually when walk in Anchorage I usually find and panhandler who refuses to tell the truth this guy tells the truth.  Last Tuesday, October 20, 2015 I gave him a $20 for his honesty.  Yes he is still in violation of AMC 24.15.080 I gave it to in person.  I have been trying to find him since Bob and Mark from KWHL had been talking about this guy for years.  I wanted to do a story on him.  He was at Spenard and Minnesota at the Holiday.  He may still be there. 

Anchorage Cabs should be allowed charge an additonal fees for credit cards transactions

Alaska Yellow Cab has submitted a proposal to charge customers an additional fare for processing credit cards.  This is not a bad idea.  Most businesses are able to pass this cost to their customers.  Cab companies should also be able to pass this cost to their customers as well.  Anchorage Checker Cab should also be able to add a surcharge for their customers.  Cab companies also should not have to take credit cards for fares under $10 the reason is the cost of processing credit card transactions.  Cab companies should be able to charge a $3 fee maximum for each credit card transaction with tip included over $10 cab fare.  Most customers will pay the extra fee to allow them to use their credit card.  Please allow the cab companies to charge a fee for them using a credit card.  Please tell your assembly you want the cabs to be like other business to charge a surcharge for credit card transactions.

Rendon proposal will actually make the Anchorage taxicab industry a true monopoly

Rendon proposal will make the Anchorage Taxicab Industry into a real monopoly that the Anchorage Taxicab Permit Associations claims they are not.  One problem with Rendon proposal.  Permit owner do not own their permits the Anchorage Municipality does.  He says that he should be paid $23 million by city taxpayers with money for annual staffing.  Problem is Title 11 only would give $230,000 with no money for staffing.  This also would give him control of the Anchorage Taxicab market this would be a monopoly.  This would allow him to jack up the price for Anchorage customers.  Bad for the consumer no competition which is something that the Anchorage Taxicab Permit Owner Association would rather have complete control.  This would not benefit Anchorage the cab industry.  Please attend the Anchorage Transportation Commission meeting on Monday, October 26th at 6pm at Loussac Library speak against the Rendon proposal this is bad for industry.  Would not benefit customers, indusry, travelers and the public.  This would create higher prices on the industry and Anchorage customers.

Donald Trump has a Ross Perot type of personality

Donald Trump has taken the advice of Ross Perot.  He will take no salary while in public service.  Due to IRS laws he must still pay taxes on it.  He also has the personality that is made for television.  When you are a reality television star and been a CEO of a corporation for many years.  We need a chief executive in the White House.  Donald must understand thought that government is not a boardroom that congress and US Senate is the Board of Directors.  He will also get right to work get the agenda of the American people.  He also has the wit and funny personality that Ronald Reagan possessed.  He also has a likable personality.  He has had many marriages so did Reagan.  He was married twice.  Maybe America will wake up and support this guy for president.

Northwest Arctic Borough Mayor will be decided by runoff election November 2nd

Northwest Arctic Borough mayor race will be decided by a runoff election on November 2, 2015.  The top two candidates are Clement Richards, Sr and Wendie Schaeffer.  It is amazing that with Reggie Joule jumping out the mayors race at the last minute can create a runoff since neither candidate garnered the 50 percent needed to avoid a runoff.  I will make no endorsement.  Both candidates are qualified for this office.  People in NW Alaska go vote for who you think is the best qualified candidate for the North Slope Arctic Borough. 

Anchorage Mayor Berkowitz and Assembly please keep Bragaw Street name north of Northern Lts Blvd

On Monday evening the Anchorage Planning Commission over the objections of college students and environmentalist approve the Elmore extension.  Please do not allow Bragaw Street to be renamed at this point.  This is historic name.  You had extended Elmore all the way to where it turns into Providence Drive.  Have Elmore go through Alaska Pacific University at the four way stop keep it Bragaw Street.  Please contact Pat Flynn at (907) 278-8462, Paul Honeman (907) 947-0500 at and Pete Petersen at (907) 240-1049 and express you keep the name Bragaw Street this keeps the character of the Mountain View neighborhood of Anchorage. 

Anchorage Planning Commission approves Elmore extension unamously

As recently reported by the Alaska Dispatch News late Monday night on October 5, 2015 the Anchorage Planning Commission recently voted after hearing from Anchorage's socialist mayor Ethan Berkowitz that this would save lives in East Anchorage and Mountain View neighborhoods.  Give Alaska Pacific University front door access on Anchorage People Mover like the students at University of Alaska Anchorage.  The environmentalist lost common sense prevailed.  Let's hope we need to keep the name Bragaw Street north of Northern Lights that is historic name you imagine the Red Apple in Mt View be 131 S Elmore Road.

North Pole state representative Tammie Wilson loses by a landslide in Fairbanks North Star Borough race

With 100 percent of the results in the Fairbanks North Star Borough Tammie Wilson a state representative from North Pole lost the election by 22 percent I guess people Fairbanks do not want a person who has Amy Demboski like qualities in state government.  I am hoping Karl Kassel does not have Ethan Berkowitz type qualities wants to like turning Anchorage into the next San Francisco or Portland or Seattle.  I apologize for not promoting my friend Tammie like I did Amy earlier this year in Anchorage.  Tammie Wilson will continue to serve North Pole at the state level in the state legislature. 

Donald Trump is Barack Obama in Republican form

Donald Trump is Barack Obama in Republican form.  Executive orders should only be used in a case of national emergency.  He is planning to undo most of Barack Obama's agenda by Executive Order.  Somebody needs to tell him that United States of America is not a corporation.  He is not CEO he answers to a board known as Congress.  If it is between him and Hillary Clinton.  I am hoping for a strong independent.  Glenn Beck a national talk radio host who broadcast mostly from Texas who is originally from Mount Vernon in my home state does not even like him.  I think he is in the race to increase his popularity and his clothing line that is it.  He is not in the race for the good of the American people he is in it for his ego.  We already have that in the office now his name is Barack Hussein Obama.  Before that we had a down to earth christian cowboy named George W Bush.  Republican please send him and his toupee back to Park Avenue in New York City because he is a wolf in sheep's clothing.  He was originally a Democrat so was Reagan.  He is no Ronald Reagan.  Do we need a four to eight reality show called the "Presidency" on Lifetime TV featuring Donald Trump or have him dismiss a cabinet member you're fired.  He has a good message deport 11 million illegal immigrants and build the border.  He not take a salary taking a message from Ross Perot's Not for Sale at any price.  Jesse Ventura former Minnesota governor who considers Mexico his home most of the year only ran for one term a Minnesota governor wanted to draft him as presidential nominee in 2000.  There are other fish in the sea that actually will understand the bible and the constitution they are Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee.  They understand the constitution that what we need a president.  They also understand the 10th amendment that states should decide for themselves.

This organization is located inside the Northway Mall in Anchorage has provided a good resource for East Anchorage neighborhood in Anchorage.  It respect diversity and positive attitude through sports and other recreation.  He is also the manager at Northway Mall which is a shopping center that has turned around since he came aboard in 2011.  He has made this mall a place for people to come to again.  This mall was previously dying before that.  In his latest venture which a few friends at the Alaska Native Hospital one that I have had a friendship on twitter over the past five years and three years on Facebook on a video on Alaska Native suicide prevention you can see the link above from his Facebook page.  As know most football players whether playing or retired away give back to their community in various causes.  Ma'o even the defensive tackle for the Alaska Wild from 2007 to 2010 during a second attempt to revive his football career after injury in 2002 season of the Arizona Cardinals sidelined him he decided to move to Alaska then do community service work which has done.  He has even dabbled in a bit in politics in 2014 he placed a strong third place showing the East Anchorage Assembly race behind current assembly member Pete Petersen and Adam Trombley.  He was the sane one in my opinion in this race was always positive did not do any negative jabs at all.  He is a person like Mack Strong a retired Seahawks Fullback who creat Mack Strong Teamworks Academy who was given an award in 2010 at the Alaska Native Charter School by the principal at that time they also did a clinic with a partnership in Hope Worldwide Alaska a faith organization separate from the Great Land Christian Church did a football camp in Barrow in 2010.   http://www.adn.com/article/20151017/person-dies-after-jumping-balcony-afn-apd-says

Yesterday, October 17th, 2015 an identified Native Alaskan male decided to commit suicide of the north side of the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center near the ATM machine.

Will there be a citizens initative if LGBT ordinance is approved by the Anchorage Assembly

There are four proposals to this ordinance they are AO 2015-95, 2015-96, 2015-96S and 2015-96S1.  The S and S1 violate the 4th amendment of the US Constitution by not allowing churches to conduct business they way they see fit or within the platform of there religious beliefs.  Small business like home based bakeries and florist will not be allowed to serve their customers based on their religious beliefs.  Small businesses should be allowed to opt of performing a service at a religious ceremony.  There is a group of people who are ready to file an initiative if the assembly votes in favor of any of these ordinances.  The people of Anchorage will have the final say in this ordinance. 

Anchorage's LGBT ordinance will not unite Anchorage

Recently Bill Evans an Assembly decided to make Identity and LGBT members of the community happy.  If you wanted this ordinance you need to take gender identity out of the ordinance.  Transgender is a choice so is being gay.  The gay agenda does not read the constitution they also do not follow the bible which is what the constitution was founded on.  Even though there is a religious exemption the gay lobby will get this thrown out in court.  It is better for Anchorage to have no ordinance than to divide this community.  School age children should not have check to see if a transgendered in their bathroom before going.  Transgendered need to go in the bathroom of their birth gender not what they want to be.  Please testify against this ordinance it is better for Anchorage not to have this ordinance at all.

Spokane needs to keep responsible councilmen on the Spokane City Council

Randy Ramos in 2009 drove drunk and has not paid that debt.  He is not responsible with his finances this lapse of judgement disqualifies him from the city council.  Spokane 8th man needs an friend on the city council you will find that in Mike Fagan.  Please keep Mike Fagan on the Spokane City Council. 

Anchorage Mayor makes fake phone calls to assemblywoman

Recently Ethan Berkowitz recently mention he made a telephone call to Amy Demboski and it was never returned.  First of all this phone call never happened.  Ethan made up this phone call to pretend that he is reaching out to his political opponents.  Remember Ivan Moore has control of the mayor's office tell him what to say to make good with the public.  The truth is Ethan did not make a phone call to Amy Demboski. 

Increasing representation to Spokane County Commission not a bad idea

Spokane County since it began in 1881 has had a three commissioner format.  This has not served Spokane well since the start of the 20th century when the population of Spokane County hit the 200,000 people mark.  If you increase the amount of commissioners from three to five would be a good idea.  The bad side of this would be the end of one party rule in the Spokane County Commission.  One of the seats would occupy a Democrat this is based on how the legislative districts are constructed throughout the county.  If voters approved this idea this year or next year.  Each commissioner who have to run for election for either a one or three in 2017 in a special election or in 2016 for two or four year terms.  The whole county would have to go under redistricting.  Plus the current county commissioners represent 160,000 people roughly under the three commissioner format.  If county voters approve the five commissioner format it would change to about 95,000 people this would give the commissioner less of a busy schedule.  The pay for this position is low unlike a legislature who gets paid less than a county commissioner they do not get paid per diem.  Spokane County residents please support increasing the representing on the county commission.

Only in Spokane can the Spokane NAACP have a leader be a white woman who pretends to be black.  Rachel Dolzeal suffers from racial identity disorder.  She tans to make her skin brown she can pass as black woman and she dies for blond hair to a brown color she so can pass as a black woman.  She was born a white blond haired girl from Montana. 

Eric Croft not fit for Anchorage Assembly

Eric Croft recently announced his intent to seek an assembly seat after three years on the school board.  He is responsible for making choking the taxpayers as president of the Anchorage School Board.  The Anchorage School District budget is three times the municipal  budget when it should be only 75 percent of the municipal budget.  Both Eric and Ethan while in the legislature have pushed the higher tax button.  His policies would find an ally with another member of the assembly Pete Petersen.  Both listen to special interest not the peoples interest.  Both believe in higher taxes.  West Anchorage you can not afford Eric Croft please do what you did to Harriett Drummond back in 1999 not hire him. 

Cle Elum it is time to make Jim Eidemiller mayor

Jim Eidemiller who has dedicated his life to public service starting with the police department.  Since his retirement from the Cle Elum police force.  He has continued his public service by serving on the city council.  Cle Elum you need to make this guy mayor in the November election. 

Let's make history Spokane and keep Condon as mayor

Spokane you can make history by keeping David Condon as mayor.  He has not been effective in the last couple of years due to the boneheads on the city council.  We need to give him some allies so they city council can stop its liberal agenda into Spokane.  Mayor Condon is a friend of Spokane's 8th man.  Please vote for him in the August primary and the November election.  The police department has had better reputation since he has been mayor.

LaVerne Biel displays all the qualities that the Spokane's 8th man is looking for.  She will listen to the people of Spokane will consider infrastructure over a bridge to Hookerville.  She will not vote for bike lanes.  She will consider public safety a top priority.  She will also stand for small business which what is lacking on the current city council. Gay people now have a country to call their own

Recently the people of Ireland have decided to scrap their traditional Roman Catholic heritage.  This nation has become to comfortable with the gay lobby.  I guess every gay person can go to Ireland enjoy their sinful lifestyle.  Ireland enjoy your new lifestyle.  Your lifestyle was not approved by God.  You will have a spiritual black cloud among you like many United States that have chosen this path.  Many small business will no longer be able to practice business as they see fit.  Gay and Lesbian now have a country of their own called Ireland. 

Spokane needs to fire Karen Stratton on the City Council

Spokane needs to fire Karen Stratton who is a person who support Stuckart's vision of making this city into a city that Spokane is a not a custom to that putting bike lanes on streets.  She also supports the bridge to Hookerville in East Spokane.  The only person that is running that fits the quality that the Spokane's 8th man is looking for is Evan Verduin.  He will put Spokane's infrastructure first.  Hopefully he will make it pass the August primary.  We need a city a council that will put infrastructure first such as fixing potholes instead off putting a sick leave ordinance and shielding illegal immigrants in this city.  Karen supports Sanctuary City.  Please join with the Spokane's 8th man and support Evan Verduin for City Council. 

Spokane needs to keep Mike Fagan working for you

Spokane you need to keep Mike Fagan working for you.  He has always worked for the freedoms that Spokane has been known for.  He is a friend of Spokane's 8th man.  He and his brother Jack my former academic counselor at Spokane Falls Community College have been a friend of Washington state taxpayers.  They have helped Washington state rein in spending.  It has saved taxpayers money starting with Initiative 695 passed in 1999.  Many local officials have said this would cause many government to reduce services.  What it really did was prioritize services in areas of the state.  Mike has been an asset to Spokane taxpayers keep him working for Spokane.  Vote for him in the August primary and the November general election. 

Spokane needs to fire Ben Stuckart as Council President

Ben Stuckart and his goon squad on the city council have wanted Spokane to no longer look like Spokane is known to be.  This city has been for years the model for the traditional America.  This group of thugs want to bring Seattle type of solution to Spokane problems.  So far Seattle solutions have caused small business to leave in fact my hometown chamber has been marketing to small business do not want to pay $15 hour move your business to Snoqualmie or North Bend you will not have to.  

Spokane you have a solution support John Ahern and vote for him in the November general election you get Spokane back to its original self.  Ben Stuckart can easily find a progressive job to go to.

Port of Seattle here is a suggestion for SeaTac extra runway land on I-5

Hey Port of Seattle this has been a joke since the mid 1990's for SeaTac's extra runway.  Have them land on I-5 south of the Seattle city limits.  During the morning they can use the Southbound lanes and in the evening use the Northbound lanes.  Airlines would have to notify the DOT workers not to allow traffic on the highway during landing times.  You would not need to expand the airport.  It is well paid for already being used.  They just had to get transit bus to bring the passengers to the airport and to transport the luggage then taxi the plane to take up at a hanger going east on State Rte 518.

Patriots owner throws Tom Brady under the bus

I guess in a recent development Patriots owner Robert Kraft has dropped the appeal with the NFL will accept the penalty leaving Tom Brady to fight for himself.  He could really have courage and release Tom Brady then go to the Ravens get Matt Schaub to be the next quarterback then any team would then scramble to get him knowing they can not use him til week 5 or 6.  I guess Tom Brady is alone with no backup from Patriots managers.

Lora Reinbold is the only person in the Alaska State legislator that is bold and courageous.  When she felt the legislator did not cut enough she voted against the budget.  That takes guts.  The Republican house majority decided to penalize her in March for voting the way her people in Eagle River told her to vote.  As I had mentioned many times she is the Amy Demboski of the state legislator.  You got to like those Eagle River women they vote with common sense not stupid sense.  Please continue to support Lora's efforts she votes with the taxpayer.

Medicaid Expansion is a bad deal for Alaska and Anchorage

Currently the Alaska legislature has been debating whether Medicaid expansion is good for Alaska.  Medicaid expansion will drive up the cost of health care.  It will also order the Alaska Native Medical Center to open its facility to everybody.  It also requires Alaska to pay more at the end.  Doctors are performing many services in states that have taken medicaid expansion this includes the states that have Republican governors.  Idaho and Ohio citizens health care cost have increased ever since their governors have allowed Medicaid expansion.  Please tell your legislator, Mayor Elect Berkowitz and governor Walker that Medicaid expansion is a bad deal. 

Willow time to incorporate if you want to increase fire response times

Willow want to increase your response times and stop accept orders from Palmer to be told what to do with your community.  You need to get a petition to incorporate become your own city.  By becoming your own community.  You can tax your citizens form your own police force and you can increase your fire response time by forming your fire department even if it is a volunteer fire department.  This will give you complete local control.  Matanuska Susitna Borough contracts with the Alaska State Troopers to provide police protection this puts a strain on the state budget.  Willow citizens want to control your own destiny then you need to become your own city. 

Tom Brady needs to suspended for the whole 2015 NFL season

Tom Brady needs to be make an example of for telling his equipment people that he wants his balls a certain way.  I am not just saying this as a Seahawks fan.  This is for the integrity of the game.  I actually like the Patriots as a team.  They beat us in a very close game in the last super bowl.  By having him suspended for the whole season shows quarterbacks you try to affect the outcome of the game you do not play for the following season.  The Patriots have another options there is a backup quarterback that can get them championship that was just signed with the Ravens his name is Matt Schaub.  If Robert Kraft offered Matt Schaub a one year contract to be the quarterback for the Patriots this will allow the Patriots to keep their championship team.  He lead the Texans to the playoffs in 2011 and 2012 seasons.  This would also allow him to no longer be a bench warmer for another quarterback.  

 

Uber ordinance will be pulled on May 12th Anchorage Assembly meeting

Just heard from South Anchorage assembly member Bill Evans that the Uber ordinance 2014-135 will be pulled until we reform how the taxi operation is done in Anchorage, Alaska.  Dispatch companies and the permit owners have too much control must completely reform Title 11.  This requires elimination to subscription to a dispatch.  We need to require all permits become a status of a vehicle for hire.  All taxi permits must go down to $2500 be considered non transferable.  Remember the municipality is not responsible for any devaluation of any taxi permits.  We need to have a more competitive environment allow more transportation options for Anchorage

Non profits who can afford big money advertising does not need government money

Organizations like the United Way who can afford bus wraps on a People Mover bus do not need government subsidy.  These organizations are support to rely on donations.  Some of these can only afford expenses when government helps with donations like public broadcasting.  If government funding stops these organizations from performing their duties will still exist.  They can perform their mission statement without government intervention.  We need to stop giving non profit organization taxpayer money unless it actually goes to problem they are addressing.  Places like the United Way get their money through other means like the Rasmusson Foundation where donors can do pick click give with the Permanent Fund.  This is government choosing winners and losers.  People should decide who to give to. 

Father retires from lengthy career in the fire department

My father Fred after a lengthy career of volunteering in two fire department is retiring on May 2015 at the age of 65.  He started his volunteer fire department career at the North Bend fire department in 1971 where he also served as an Emergency Medical Technician.  He was promoted up to the rank of Lieutenant.  Then in 1989 he moved to Cle Elum where he continue to the tradition of serving his community by serving his local fire department as Kittitas County Fire District 7 at the Station 73 at the Nelson Siding Road station.  He rose to the rank of Lieutenant and Public Information Officer.  During my growing up days he sometimes would tell stories of some of his calls at the dinner table even though my mother sometimes would object to it.  As children Jim and I learned very early on all the first aid techniques.  We sometimes would pray around the scanner to until our father came home from a call.  This was typical of any first hero family.  He taught me how you talk to first hero family.  When Jim and I were younger we would pretend to be fireman.  My younger brother Jim almost was a firefighter but father in law John Black made sure that did not happen.  He did not want his daughter marrying a firefighter.  This training also helped me when I was dispatching taxi cabs in Anchorage I know how to talk to first heroes get the cab drivers the help they needed.  I wish my father well in his retirement as a first hero.  He will always remember for the countless lives he helped saves and always will wonder about the ones he could not.   

Higher unemployment may soon come to Anchorage due to Ethan Berkowitz being elected mayor

Higher unemployment will soon come to Anchorage.  When Ethan Berkowitz proposes this ordinance to the assembly.  I will be there to make sure this assembly does not adopt it.  We also need to repeal it and while we are at repeal the assembly members that voted for it.  This will kill small business and this will also create more unemployment.  When this issue comes up in the assembly I will be there in a NFL jersey or an Anchorage 12th man jersey speaking against this. 

Amy Demboski campaign was not just a political campaign it was a faith based campaign

There are very few political campaigns I volunteer for that I feel that Jesus is in the political campaign.  This campaign had Jesus flowing in it.  Amy never preached when she spoke to citizens about her vision of Anchorage.  When I was sign waving with the sign.  I could pray with holding the sign and I feel that god would answer my prayers.  I actually believed in this campaign.  Very few people understand what a public servant real is.  When a candidate stays true to their principles very few candidates win like that.  I believe we will see Amy Demboski again run for another office or will run for mayor again in 2018.  She will be taking notes against Ethan Berkowitz for the next three years..  Amy will continue to fight for all of Anchorage not just Eagle River and Chugiak where she represents.  I will volunteer to help her again.  Amy is truthful with people and even if she does not agree with you on an issue she will tell you why.  She does not sugar coat an issue.

According to the US Constitution Congress or any subdivision like the Municipality shall make no law tell a small business how to run their business and what customers they can serve.  If a small business says due to religious values I can not perform something then is their right under the constitution.  The gay lobby has been lying to public saying it is civil right not special rights.  The constitution does not say if you have an orientation choose to be the opposite sex you get to have rights over faith.  The 1st amendment gives people the right of faith.  Democrats use this one all the time when they report non factual information on a person.  Gay lobby have been using bureaucrats and the courts to get their way because in states where gay marriage is not legal they want to force their agenda on the people.  You might as well throw the constitution of the United States in the garbage then.  Most liberals like Ethan have never read the document.  He thinks you have a business government should tell you how to run that business.

Could we see a flood of candidates for the West Anchorage Assembly in 2016.

There is a good chance that Ernie Hall will not run for his final term for the assembly this puts us with an open seat.  Dustin Darden had a great 5th place showing in the Anchorage mayor's race recently.  We have two other candidates who could also pop up in this race that is Anand Dubey and Nick Moe.  Nick Moe almost successfully defeated Ernie Hall in a write in campaign.  Anand Dubey has ran and close very close races in the past.  Anand and Dustin could split the vote giving us a Nick Moe to the assembly.  But then Dustin and Nick could split the vote that would giving us Anand Dubey to the assembly.  Dustin would be a great choice who would a middle of road candidate for this district.  Let the flood of candidates happen

Anchorage Assembly will rename a one block section of Gambell Street tonight

At tonight Anchorage's Assembly in one hour the assembly member Pat Flynn who represents the area will introduce a resolution renaming one block of Gambell Street calling it Gamble Street from E 6th Avenue to E 7th Avenue.  This blog will stay up until the sign is correct or that Gambell Street is renamed Gamble Street. 

Michael Brown and Freddie Gray caused their own deaths

This recent handling of Freddie Gray just like Michael Brown was not due to police conduct it was due to the fact they refused to submit to police authority and instruction.  The racist NAACP real name is the National Advancement of Communist Persons.  There campaign of hands up don't shoot is a racist campaign.  Remember Reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are false prophets proclaiming they stand for black people when most black people do not share their views at all.  Martin Luther King preached non violence not throw rocks at police.  If the justice department were are a real justice department.  FBI should order the arrest of Reverend Al Sharpton for inciting a riot in Baltimore and Ferguson.

Baltimore lawmakers and Maryland politicians need to have some backbone.  Arrest anyone involved in civil discourse.  They also need to do one other thing hand the local chapter and the national chapter of the NAACP which its true name is the National Advancement of Communist Persons the bill.  Require before they raise one additional dollar they must pay this bill.  City of Baltimore needs to have the police seize all their assets until the bill is paid.  If Al Sharpton has also incited this then put out a warrant for his arrest if he comes to Baltimore he will go to jail for being a racist.  Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are falsely preaching the ideas of Martin Luther King.  True Black people would like to see what the justice system does first not react in a racist manner.  You were wrong in Ferguson you are wrong here.  True Black people do not share your racist ideas.  You are false prophets.  Martin Luther King preached non violence you preach lets destroy humanity be racist.  Freddie Gray was defiant like Michael Brown refuse to submit to police instructions.  Both deaths are not justified the police are not at fault it is the fault of the person refusing to submit to the command of the police officer.  They died due to their own behavior not the police.  Justice Department needs to stay out these investigations. 

Teacher saves students in school shooting at Lacey's North Thurston High School

It takes outstanding teachers like social studies teacher Brady Olson to think of the welfare of the students over himself.  The shooter a recent transfer from Mt Rainer a bigger high school than North Thurston.  The reason I know this because Mt Rainer in Des Moines plays in the same league as my birth high school in the Snoqualmie Valley called Mt Si in the King County league.  North Thurston a small school in Lacey east of Olympia.  This kid had mental health issues however due to a recent Initiative 594 recently passed by Washington State voters his parents will be charged with a crime.  Even though it was the student who did the crime just like recently the parents of recently deceased shooter Jaylen Friberg is currently being charged for allowing access to a rifle to him.  I guess as the kid finds himself in juvenile detention the parents will soon also be in jail as well under a socialist law passed by voters recently.  Here is a case where gun laws do not prevent crimes because those that do this stuff do not follow the law.  Gun laws do not protect people.  It was a teacher that protected the students here.  Kudos to Brady Olson for thinking of his students first.

This idiot named Josh Whittaker before the runoff for the Anchorage mayoral election decided instead of doing of average citizens do.  If you do not like the candidate or their views vote against them not destroy their signs like this idiot did.  On May 8th this moron will be in court with hopefully mayor elect Amy Demboski.  Let's hope Ethan Berkowitz does not have this moron on his volunteer staff.  The sign at Ronnie's Sushi Two on Muldoon Rd in East Anchorage has been replaced.  The pictures are the the sign two weeks earlier not vandalized and other with a red o cross pattern.  These campaign signs cost money to replace too cash out of a campaign that could had been used for other things like TV and Radio commercials which are not cheap.  It is good thing I am charging this campaign for my promotion services on this website.  I recommend Anchorage please support Amy Demboski in the Anchorage runoff election on May 5th.  She is the only qualified candidate we need a fiscal manager not a someone who believes a program is the way to solve a problem and cry to the state for money.  He believes that you should not have freedom of religion.  You should not practice the 1st amendment in religious.  Ethan Berkowitz also believes in less choices, more regulation and lower quality of life for Anchorage.   Please tell Ethan you do not want Rice A Roni politics in Anchorage. 

Washington State and Governor Inslee has a message for you Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley RESIGN!!!

A recent article I read on Seattle's Fox Station Q13 and the Seattle Times that current Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley was indicted for falsely submitting tax returns.  Residents of Washington State and Governor Inslee have a message for you.  Instead of taking a leave of absence how about resigning the office.  Part of your duties is to audit the public agencies to make sure they are spending taxpayers money wisely.  You also audit county and municipal city books to make sure they are accounting for every dollar spent.  You can not even keep your own books straight.  How can you be effective at your job at State Auditor.  People of the state of Washington are asking you to resign.  You need to do the right thing and resign today.  Secretary of State Kim Wyman can hold a special election on November 2015 for your office.  I do not think a primary election will be necessary if it is then have the primary in August.  I also believe by constitution Governor Jay Inslee can appoint a Democrat that persons term would expire on the day after the election is certified by Kim Wyman's office in Late November.

Who murdered Jessica Lake in an Anchorage Fairview neighborhood?

Who killed Jessica Lake a native of Hooper Bay?  She was 26 years old.  July 15, 2014 her lifeless body was behind a place in Anchorage's Fairview neighborhood around 13th and Hyder.  This neighborhood has had some questionable activity over the years.  It is very close to the Crazy Horse Bar.  She also was one of the first residence of Karluk Manor.  Could a neighbor had killed her?  Could someone who was jealous of her arrangement of Karluk Manor killed her?  Could she had gotten in a dispute with a someone who has lived in a homeless camp nearby ended up murdered.  If you know what happened to Jessica on Tuesday night July 15, 2014 please call my friends at the Anchorage Police Department at (907) 786-8900 ask for the detective working this case.  Please help Jessica Lake's family and the community of Hooper Bay find justice for their lost daughter Jessica.  I will have Green Teenager Barista Crime Fighter working on this case from her Alaska base at the Common Ground Espresso Stand in the Alaska Club parking lot. 

Mandatory paid sick leave is a bad deal for Spokane's small business

Spokane's communist thinking City Council with its ruthless president Ben Stuckart and his gang of tyrants Amber Waldref, Johnny Snyder and Candace Mumm are again want to make Spokane not a place small business should practice business.  Mandatory paid sick leave will not allow a business the quality of their employees.  Government should not be in process of telling a business how to operate their business.  If an employee can not come into work they have a family health issue.  Most business will adjust to that employee's family concerns if the employee is a good asset to the company.  Some employees will abuse this as well to get paid time and not work.  Since these policies are using built in way you can not fire the employee on sick leave.  You are paying an unproductive employee.  I get that if you have a sick child you need to be home to take care of that child.  What happened to asking family members to take care of your sick child or friends who have flexible schedules.  Government should never get involved in personnel decisions of a business.  This policy will drive away small business away from Spokane.  Remember it is the small businesses that make a local economy great not the big businesses.  They employee more workers then the big business.  Remember the major cost of a business is labor when government raises that cost you have to either lay off an employee or raise prices.  Usually most business will choose to lay off versus raise prices.  Please tell Spokane's communist council no paid sick leave for Spokane's small business.

Need to show Homer's Paul Seaton and Fairbanks's Click Bishop the door

Any legislator that proposes an income tax as away to collect revenue for the State of Alaska needs to be shown the door.  Homer residents need to vote out Paul Seaton in the next election and Fairbanks residents need to vote out Click Bishop.  They voted for them not take more money away from the people these legislators are not acting Republican they are acting like Democrats.  Please tell these legislature to stop the idea of proposing an income tax.  Legislatures need to reduce the budget and radically trim spending not come up with new ways of pocketing revenue to justify their drunken sailor spending way.

Congrats to Duke men's Basketball Team and Uconn Women's Basketball Team

Congrats Duke Men's Basketball and University of Connecticut Women's Basketball Teams in their perform and victories in the NCAA basketball tournament.  I originally supported Gonzaga men and women basketball teams.  I am also glad that Eastern Washington University made it even though they got eliminated early.  I was hoping the Wisconsin and Notre Damme would have won in the finals.  I guess the best teams win.  I guess there is always the 2016 season.

It is official for the two candidates for the Anchorage borough mayor election on May 5th are Amy Demboski and Ethan Berkowitz.  There is a clear choice.  One believes that to solve a problem there is a program you can create to solve it.  The other believes in choice you should be allowed to make your own decisions.  

Amy Demboski believes that government should not be the solution for every situation.  She also believes you should have choice in how you live your life as long as you do not endanger someone's life and liberty in the process.  She also believes in fiscal accountability and allowing the non profits to take a role in dealing with social issues.  Imagine if the Downtown Soup Kitchen could help the chronic drunk situation with their religious values and not have the government intervene in that. 

Ethan Berkowitz believes if you want to solve a problem a government program solves the problem.  Let's not be accountable for our spending.  Let's get more money for the taxpayers not allow the taxpayer to decide who gets be winners or losers.  Let's waist the money then ask for more.  Kind of reminds me of that orphan who keeps asking for more not satisfied with what they got.  He is Mark Begich on steroids.
