Amanda Berry and Jaycee Duggard have children by their kidnappers

Recently May 6th, 2013 an egg McMuffin who was in the middle of breakfast Charles Ramsey rescued Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight from a Cleveland home back in 2009 in California a very alert university shrink was able to rescue Jaycee Duggard who had two girls with her kidnappers the Guerros.  Amanda Berry has a six year old child named Jocelyn by Castro.  The bad part is Jocelyn will never get to know grandma since she died of a broken heart in 2006.  Soon Amanda will be reunited with her family and a lot of healing with have to be done since these girls suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.  I ask the media please let these girls come out in time and Lifetime please do not even come out with a movie for a least two years after the event allow Amanda Berry to heal.  However if you want to make a movie why not come out a movie called what happened to my small town girl about Lindsey Baum missing case maybe someone in the Portland Metro area and Olympic Peninsula know something if you do please call (866) 915-8299 the Grays Harbor Task Force.

America needs alternative radio for progressives to listen to

Most radio markets no longer have the option of choosing a 24 hour format of progressive mainly because progressive radio is not profitable kind of like here in Anchorage when a common working stiff taxi driver can not own a taxi permit because they require that you pay over 100,000 to get one.  This is not the American dream even many taxi drivers who come from other countries come to America to seek opportunity.  Plus progressive need their own radio station to hang up.  Many people say that NPR or I like to call it National Puke Radio already is the progressive which only ten percent of federal taxpayer dollars to the Corporation for Public Broadcast.  You figure places like Seattle and Portland progressives actually control the local government would have an independent progressive radio station.  The progressive radio station have converted to sports stations.  Here in Alaska we need an outlet for Shannyn Moore, Kathy Phillips and Cary Carrigan to air their opinions to local Alaskans.  Right now on Shannyn has a progressive show on a station that carries Fox News Radio,  Cary last time I check is a sub playing records and Kathy is reduced to reading the news and occasionally does a show does a podcast version of the Better Beer Show however does not appear live on KOAN version at 5pm on Saturday's hosted by someone else

Ketchikan Gateway Borough needs to pay City of Ketchikan every dollar owed

It seems that Ketchikan city taxpayers have been paying for Gateway Borough to dispatch a fire truck or police car.  The Ketchikan Gateway Borough assembly needs to write a check for balance due and pay what amount the City of Ketchikan bills them.  If the borough does not want to do that the other option is form your own or put public emergency service in dire straits.  The other option is have some moron in a head seat in Palmer or Juneau answer your telephone call.  Since Ketchikan has more cab choices than in Anchorage and not such a good bus system.  Offer your dispatch system up for bid who comes up with the best offer you contract with the cab company they assign a dispatcher you offer to computerize their cab dispatch office help train each dispatcher how to dispatch emergency first responders.  Make sure the cab dispatchers are not using the same software that way we do not have cabs responding to police and fire emergencies.  We also need to train the representives or call takers how to be calm so you do not have rude people answer police and fire calls.  This also will have the cab company be able to train their people to be patient and be nicer to their cab driver because you do not talk to a fireman, ambulance person the same way you talk to a cab driver.  Cab driver gets a nicer dispatcher as a result.  Ketchikan could become a test market in Alaska if the Ketchikan Gateway Borough does not want to pay the full amount or negotiate some agreement to pay the City of Ketchikan then contract a cab company to provide EMS and police dispatch service.  If you choose the cab company route I would recommend one company for police and one for fire and EMS this makes it easier for the cab companies.  You do not want some moron in Juneau or Palmer answer EMS, fire and police calls for Ketchikan Gateway Borough this could be a serious problem you want people who know the geography the layout of the land answering those calls not sending a fire across town when the fire is at a different location losing valuable response time due to bad information for someone not familiar with Ketchikan answering those calls.  That is Alaska Yellow Cab call taker and dispatcher not familiar with the layout of Anchorage or answering phone call and just relying on the computer to dispatch a cab having no brains to know how the get a person a cab quicker.  Which is Alaska Yellow Cab has lousy cab service.  Thanks Megan Baldino of Alaska News Now for bringing this too my attention.

Please support the Marco Rubio Immigration bill.  It provides a clear path for citizenship and it prevents foreign born people, criminals from obtaining social and welfare benefits.  Recently it was learned that the Boston Bomber and master mind may he rest in hell Tamerlin Tsarnev and his wife Kathryn Rusell Tsarnev was a moocher of public assistance so he and his wife and brother could be American Jihadist.  He manipulated his younger brother abused his wife and slept around.  If you want to be a citizen here are the rules do it right or you head back to the country of where you came from.  If a state wants to give immigrants not legal benefits they may do so only if federal funds are not using to fund state public assistance programs.  If you are a cab driver unless you are naturalized or an American born you should not be allowed to be a licensed cab driver. You must also speak English or Spanish due to possibly Puerto Rico becoming a state and any Native American and Native Alaskan language to become a cab driver in America.

Meth can make you look older than your age and make you do stupid stuff

Usually I am Libertarian when it comes to drugs.  I believe that if you do drugs in your own home and do not harm others then you should have the right do them in your own home.  However,  when your addiction starts to affect other people.  I currently have a nephew who is awaiting trial that I need to give the uncle nephew tough live talk to and an small older brother who is involved with meth.  For one a meth house is disguisting and the only to get rid of this smell is to destroy the item.  You imagine combined with mental illness here in Alaska we have another problem call Symthetic Marijuana also call Spice which can make you do crazy things.  I have a friend who's child committed suicide because he has now way out of a situation.  This stuff can also make look older than you are.  Imagine being 20 years old and look like your folks it makes you look older than you are so does smoking cigarettes excessively.  Imagine seeing some of my classmate on this crazy drugs thinking are you really in your 40's but you look like my dad who is in his 60's.  Come my friends.  Please stay off the meth unless you want to be six feet under or in an urn or make you want to live in 7 by 7 cell funded by the taxpayer.  Look like tales from tails from the Crypt.  Come stay of the meth. 

Please tell your local school board to fire or not renew a teachers contract with a local teachers association

Please mention to your school board they should not renew any contract from a local teachers union.  Teachers should work directly with the school administration and school board.  Tenure should be eliminated.  The quality is better when you fire a teachers association you eliminate the voice of the National Education Association they support top down administrations not the teachers.  Most are responsible for why Johnny can not read or graduate must take remedial course in order start college on the right track.  Some students should learn a trade instead most public school have a one size fits all which is that all students will go to a four year university.  I did not go to the four year university.  I got my degree from a two year community college.  Let's start in the 8th grade find out what the kid wants to do then do when they go to high school they can have a custom learning plan for each student.  If a students wants to do a trade then they can graduate with job skills and learn the trade.  If the student wants to work on motorcycles then have the student do course for the trade.  If a student wants to teacher then that student can do course for that purpose.  Please tell your school board to fire the teachers union and save your schools and childs learning.  Allow parents to control the schools.

After getting the facts from a trusted friend who would made a great legislator Roger Purcell who is the chair of the Houston, Alaska Chamber of Commerce.  No state money will used in the Knik Arm Crossing which means if they want to put tolls they can.  What they need to do check out how the Washington State Hwy 520 bridge is tolled allow toll passes, frequent users discount.  If you live in Port Mackenzie you should have a 50 percent discount this should also apply to the Whittier tunnel if you are Whittier resident.  Anchorage cab drivers just like picking someone or taking someone to Whittier according to Anchorage Title 11 if you have a fare to you have to pay extra to execute the trip such as toll you can pass that on to the customer and add it to the price of the fare.  The real question the real hold is what we call the mismanaged construction project called the Anchorage Port which started in the Begich Administration has continued through the Sullivan administration except for a few assembly member Paul Honeman and Dick Triani questioning the cost of the port.  Most assembly members have just sung the tune of lets just throw many at expanding the port hope a bridge a come.  In the mean time the Matanuska Susitna Borough buys a ferry that can only sit in the dock in Ketchikan kind of like a Chevy Nova.  This ship would be better if put the Alaska State Legislature on it instead of sending it to Los Angeles for the Catalina Island ferry.  The legislatures can not leave the ship until peoples business is done.  Build the bridge and tell the Anchorage Assembly to finish the port a bridge is coming.
