It is time to reduce the District of Columbia down to a six block area make it a historical park

There are many people who believe that District of Columbia statehood is the answer.  When they create Washington, DC it was not suppose to be a city around the capitol.  District of Columbia was create in 1799 so the capitol would not be put in a state back at that time until 1800 when the capitol moved it was in New York City from 1789-1800.  It was originally in Philadelphia from September 1787-March of 1789. Instead District of Columbia needs to be part of Maryland.  It can be a consolidated county called Washington-Columbia County, Maryland.  This also would give Maryland two congressman and give Washington access to two senators now this city will probably get its own congressman or have two congressman instead of a delegate who has no power.  Why have a state of 800,000 have only 3 electoral vote when you can increase Maryland from 10 electoral votes to 12 and we could give an electoral vote to a state that lost one in the last census.  This would be a better approach then DC statehood.  Plus GOP would not have control of it anyway.  The capitol would be in neutral ground. 

More Tikatknu Commons like large scale development nightmares will continue in Anchorage and Eagle River

Thanks Anchorage Assembly for creating more Tikatknu Commons like nightmares in develop in the Municipality of Anchorage.  Recently on August 19th, 2013 People Mover has decided that if you want to visit Tikatknu Commons you have to get off and go across the street.  We need to require large scale developments to pay six figures to develop in Anchorage they do that in my hometown of Snoqualmie Valley and Snoqualmie Ridge is a planned and great community it took about 5-10 years to develop it.  It is planned out well and it looks awesome.  If Eagle River wants more bus service then you make large scale developers pay an impact fee this will get us more transit funding.  If we move the East Anchorage transit center from 12th and Muldoon to Tikatknu Commons it would be safer for bus passengers and would be better for workers and people who shop there.  This is an inconvenience to the workers and shoppers in East Anchorage.  There is only one bus route where you could have six but Cook Inlet Region Incorporated refuses to make it easier for buses to navigate this shopping center please make more restrictions to large scale developments this will give Eagle River another bus route and bring back the Route 77.  Here is a picture of Tikatknu Commons and picture of Snoqualmie Ridge.  

Here is an idea Anchorage Police Chief Mark Mew and the Anchorage Assembly reward cab drivers and dispatch companies to lead to arrest drunk drivers

Attention Anchorage Assembly and Anchorage Police Chief Mark Mew hire night time cab drivers to monitor new bars if they see someone impaired coming out of a bar then start to drive then have a special number that cab drivers and dispatcher can call to report drunk drivers to and then have the Anchorage Police Department pull over the drunk driver so they do not kill someone or themselves by accident while driving impaired.  Have retail store clerks from convenience stores during the grave yard shift if they see someone plastered also report to the police if the drunk person who drives to their store impaired.  It is better to give a person a DWI where hopefully will be a wake up call then to have a traffic fatality.  If a cab driver successful reports driver to law enforcement while doing fare  the cab driver should get a reward of $200 minimum if the dispatcher calls from a cab driver the cab driver gets $100 and the dispatch company gets $100.  Dispatcher if Dispatch Company chooses can pay the dispatch there portion decision made by dispatch manager or officer manager or dispatch owner since dispatch helped prevent drunk driver. 

Native Alaskan Corporations and tribal councils should pay for teachers to teach in rural Alaska

Since we have a problem keeping teachers to teach in rural Alaska.  Why not the Alaskan Native Corporation and village tribal councils pay upcoming teachers during college in a form of a scholarship.  Applicants must maintain a B average and they must agree to teach in an Alaskan village for five years after graduation.  This also makes it so that Alaskan native village like Akhiok make an investment in the community.  Another idea is to allow the Alaska Board of Education not to require a teacher certificate to teach in a rural Alaska school allow elders to teach the kids this will allow the Alaska natives to pass down their traditions to the Alaska native youth.

Alaskans are required by law to file for a Permanent Fund Dividend according to the Alaska State Law

Recently Shannyn Moore related in an opinion piece on the July 14, 2013 you are not required by law to file for a permanent fund dividend.  According to an Alaska State law you are required to file for a permanent fund dividend.  This is also used to as a way to calculate the state census.  This also helps the Alaska congressional delegation be able to request additional revenue and tax money from Washington, DC.  There was as a case in Kodiak where a person refused to file for a permanent fund dividend because he did not want the Office of Children Services to garnish it.  The judge ruled since he did not file he had the ability to pay the child support refused to file due to this must pay the child support be required to file for a permanent fund dividend.  There is something else that Shannyn Moore leaves out of her opinion piece is that you are not required to register to vote in Alaska until deadline or maintain residency in the state for a federal election.  How you do think Bobby Kennedy, Hillary Clinton was able to run for US Senate not live in New York State prior to election.  I will tell you if Sarah Palin does win the Republican primary it means Mark Begich second term by a landslide.  What many Republican neglect to realize is that Bush Alaska decides elections not Anchorage and Fairbanks.  Most Alaskan natives will be voting for Mark Begich the real reason he won in 2008 regards of Ted Stevens being wounded politically. 

Seattle city leaders told cab drivers to work and quit complaining

Yes, Taxi reform will soon be coming to the Emerald city.  A week ago last Monday a bunch of cab drivers went to the Seattle City Hall to complain about Uber and Sidecar.  The local officials told the cab drivers to take a shower and get to the work get fares.  It seems that if want to be a cab driver.  You should have to work for it not get it delivered to on a silver platter.  It would be interesting if people want a taxi cab permit can afford one can get one if they follow all the local regulations.  They purchase a car, hire a night driver or day driver.  Have an independent business if you provide great customer service youkeep your customers.  Do not charge more than fare you are allowed by law.  Not be lazy you can make good money in the business.  Excess regulation prohibits great customer service. 

We need to send all American Jihadist to Camp Delta at Guatanamo Bay

Since our Anti-American White House administration and the Socialist morons Democrats who want terrorist to be tried in American Courts.  Here is a better idea let's sentence all American Jihadist to Guatanamo Bay.  We can start with Dzhokhar Tsarnev the Boston Bombing suspect.  Every American who is convicted of treason and does a terrorist act should immediately be stripped of their citizenship upon convicted sentenced to the American Jihadist Inn this would be the new name for Camp Delta at Guatanamo Bay.  They they can also have our Jihadist come to Michigan and Vermont or since last time they had a vote on this issue Senator Carl Levin and Vermont Pat Leahy voted to close Guatanamo Bay bring the American Jihadist in to run Detroit or have Ben and Jerry's be the American Jihadist Inn.  Their is a reason Michigan has declined since the 2002 when John Engler was Governor of Michigan and Vermont is New Yorkers go after New York is tired of them.  You could rename that state New York's Garbage.
