Jenise Wright killed by a trailer park trash teen punk
Janice killed by a teenager trailer park trash punk. Yes the family may have known individual. Most trailer park residents get to know each other. This punk took an innocent life. Too bad his will be spent mostly behind. Since he is a juvenile he will not be eligible for the death penalty by Washington State Law. Great job FBI and Bremerton Police in solving this quickly. Now the bad part is now the trailer park managers will probably ask his family to move from the park due to this thug. There are many other things a teenage boy can do. Killing a little girl is not one of them. If you have any evidence of this juvenile had done this act on August 2nd at Steele Creek Mobile Home Park in Bremerton. please call the task force at (360) 308-5400 or 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324)

Uber, Lfty and Sidecar are making municipal taxi permits worthless
Uber and Lfty are making municipal taxi permits worthless. Here in Anchorage taxi cab permits are now worth over $100,000 which is overvalued since no bank officer will give no more than $1800 for each permit. How much the permits are actually worth. Uber and Lfty will allow competition with the taxi companies. Let's issue as many permits as the market will allow this will improve quality of the taxi service in Anchorage and everywhere else. Competition makes an industry better.

Seattle new minimum wage law will increase juvenile crime in the city
Recently Seattle has decided that people should make $15 an hour. There city council has decided to increase the amount of juvenile crime in Seattle. Since juveniles will not be able to work at fast food joints, grocery stores since it will be too costly to hire them. Juveniles will only has a very costly alternative that is commit crime and mischief. They also have decided that higher unemployment is the goal due to business shutting their doors or having less workers. They have also decided that customer service needs to be controlled by robots. Liberalism does not make the quality of life better it actually makes it worse just look at Detroit as an example of this.
Having unlimited amount of permits issued actually improves the quality of cab service
When cities like Anchorage limit the amount of taxi permits in a market. You actually do not improve the quality of service in the taxi industry. You actually weakening it to where people will use alternative forms of transportation. In Anchorage the way to compete with the taxi fleet has been the vehicle for hire permit method less costly. Some vehicle for hires are shadow taxis they actually take people from place to place without a reservation. The best example of this is the hotel shuttles. We need to issue as many taxis as the market will allow a better quality cab industry. Competition allow makes an industry better.

Anchorage cab drivers must take trips with seeing eye dogs
Anchorage Cab Drivers under current regulations are required to take passengers with seeing eye dogs and children with disabilities. The only reason a driver can refuse a customer if they are required to physically lift a customer or the customer is extremely rude to the cab driver. If the customer refused to pay fare to the driver on a previous trip. If the customer with a disability can not get into a regular cab they must tell their dispatcher and the dispatch must send a cab that customizes to the disability such as a wheel chair that can not fold. Then a wheel chair accessibility cab must be dispatched. The cab driver is not required to lift a non folding wheel chair. Cab drivers due to liability reasons are not required to lift a customer into the cab. Cab drivers are required to take seeing eye dogs in the cabs regardless of they are allergic to the dog or not due to the Americans for Disabilities Act and they may not take refuse to take seeing eye dogs on religious grounds either. The dog must be well behaved not attempt to bite the driver. Most seeing eye dogs are well behaved. Customer may not be rude to the driver. Any customer fells the cab driver has refused to take them based on disability and refusing a seeing eye dog may call the Anchorage Transportation Inspector at (907) 786-8525 after they have complained to the manager of the dispatch company they rode in.

King County Metro Transit contract with school districts to transport children
King County Metro Transit want to save your bus route approach the local school districts in become to the major transportation for school children. If you do this you not need to eliminate as many routes in fact you will be adding routes instead. Have most of your routes include a school within the route. In my hometown of Snoqualmie Valley you would have four bus routes through the whole valley if you contract with the Snoqualmie Valley School District. This will prevent cuts because the schools would pay for the bus rides for the students. Instead of reducing routes or going to the state legislature because the taxpayers in Vancouver, Spokane and Bellingham do not want to pay for your buses in King County. Have the school districts help pay for the buses.
