King County Metro Transit can save over 100 grand over bathroom issue
King County Metro transit can save over 100 grand over the bathroom issue by finding business who will allow drivers to use the bathroom. This can happen without having to hire a bureaucrat to find places for drivers to find the bathroom. Most business will cater to drivers needing to use the restroom if the driver is not rude. I understand in some neighborhoods due to the clientele you can not open access to the bathroom without a key. Most drivers will use a key and ask politely to use the restroom. Please do not spend 100 grand of taxpayers money to make this happen.
Anchorage Municipal Unions will be attacking Amy Demboski in Anchorage mayors race
Anchorage Municipal Unions will be attacking Amy Demboski with hit pieces and her votes in supporting Anchorage Ordinance 37. Notice to union thugs this lady has a thick skin and she is saving tax dollars which you would rather suck it to the taxpayers. You guys would rather have a mayor that rubber stamps your agenda instead of being the mayor of all citizens.

Outside Special Interest Groups have no place in a municipal mayors race
Today, March 4, 2014 when I went to check my digital paper of the Alaska Dispatch News. I saw that an Americans for Prosperity ad against Ethan Berkowitz slandering him on his spending policies. Yes Ethan has a liberal spending record while he was in the legislature. He also has no experience in municipal government. These national special interest groups need to stay out of the Anchorage municipal mayors. Let his opponents point out the flaws in Ethan's record. Groups like Americans for Prosperity needs to stay out this race.
Anchorage just not need to privatize garbage collection lets include the utilities too
Anchorage taxpayers can save a lot of money by privatizing a lot of services. Recently Mayor Sullivan has proposed selling Solid Waste Services. Here are some other services that need to be privatized Anchorage Waste Water Utility, Municipal Light and Power. Getting the utilities out of the government hands will give rate payers a break. It also will install competition bring down the price. Now privatizing any government utility does require a vote of the people.

Alaska tribes and corporations should help pay for Anchorage's chronic drunk problem
Since most of the Community Service Patrol calls are having to do with Alaskan natives. The Alaska Native Tribes and Corporations should help the Anchorage Municipal pay or expand the Community Service Patrol squads. This will allow the Anchorage Fire and Police Departments to pay attention to other citizens instead of dealing with chronic drunks all day long. Repeat offenders should be fined to help absorb the cost of services rendered.
Spokane's 8th Man is voice of the people
Spokane's 8th man is the voice of the people of Spokane against the Spokane City Council tyrants. Twenty years ago during the Riverpark Square debate I was a member of Spokane's notorious gang of nine. This is a movement that does not represent one individual. These are people that are tired of tyrants on the city council creating more traffic congestion, squashing dissenting views and making this city a sanctuary city. Every Monday come to city hall support the 8th man. Show Ben Stuckart and the city council who is boss.
Wage increase will effect very few Alaskans
Since most employers in Alaska hire Alaskans over $10 hours an hour. This only effects workers who are currently paid under $8.75 an hour. This is only 10 percent of workers. It does not effect independent contracted workers even if paid hourly. Most Alaskan workers make more $10 an hour. Price may increase soon to compensate to pay workers.
