Why are people recalling Felix Rivera here is why?

 Here are the boundaries in Anchorage Assembly District 4  

Here are the charges if why he is being recalled

First most residents who live in this district are not happy with the actions of this Assemblyman.  He is the Senior Assemblyman in this has serve on Assembly since 2017 and in 2020 he narrowly won reelection by 104 votes against Christine Hill who will probably be the next Assembly woman either by special election if Felix loses his recall or in 2022 if she defeats Meg Zaletel in the next election.  Her recall petition is also in the works as well.  

Here are the charges

Inability to run a civil Assembly meeting by allowing people to lay on the floor in front of the assembly

Illegally closing Assembly meetings to the public

Violating Anchorage’s Emergency Orders and allowing more than 15 people inside the Assembly chambers

Allowing people to insult and denigrate a fellow assembly person, Jamie Allard, during testimony and cutting off her microphone because he didn’t like what she was saying

Unethically soliciting to hire Young Democrats for Assembly work privately through their Facebook page with no public notice

Favoring his friends over the public this includes his friends at Identity, Inc.

Championing the ordinance that unconstitutionally bans counselors from discussing the topic of same-sex and transgender attraction with minors

Attempted to move the Samantha Koening Memorial at 630 E Tudor Road and allowed the purchase of the Golden Lion aka Felix's Litter Box

This Common Grounds Coffee Stand would have to move.  This is moving where Samantha Koening was last seen alive before Israel Coward Keyes took her life and ultimately was arrested and then took the cowards way out on December 2, 2012 in an Anchorage Jail Cell.
