East Anchorage Walgreens closes this Friday

As of this upcoming at the end of day Thursday, December 5, 2024 the Walgreens located at 7600 Debarr Road will close forever here in East Anchorage.  If you do not change your prescriptions they will go automatically be transferred to the 4353 Lake Otis Parkway location at the NE corner of Lake Otis and Tudor location starting December 6th.  This closing will not affect the Wendy's in the parking lot.  Wendy's will continue to serve customers in East Anchorage will give the restaurant temporarily more parking.

The closing will give East Anchorage less options for drug store needs.  If you want to keep your prescriptions in East Anchorage you can transfer your prescriptions to Walmart and Fred Meyer which are not far away.

According to the employees I have talked to no jobs will be lost unless the employee does not want to transfer to other Anchorage locations.  If the employee chooses not to transfer they will part ways with company by Walgreens procedure.  They will be eligible for rehire due to fact that location close and job was eliminated.  Under the State of Alaska are eligible for free job retraining if they choose.

Ted Eischeid speaks the values of East Anchorage

Ted Eischeid reminds me of a Gabrielle Ledoux.  I believe if he is elected he will actually listen to his district before he makes a vote decision.  This is what Gabrielle Ledoux did when representing his district.
My recommendation vote for Ted because he represent East Anchorage First

Had to make some hard decisions today regarding voting here in Alaska

Today, Election Day 2024 I had a difficult decision at a Alaska Republican Precinct Committee Captain of AK Precinct 21-715 I decided to vote for Mary Peltola for 1st choice and since I refuse to rank my party's choice candidate Nick Begich 2nd choice.  I decided to rank my cat Jasper Yakanak 2nd choice as a write in.

Dan Fagan is the Rush Limbaugh of Alaska

I have known of Dan's presence in Alaska politics when I returned back to Alaska in 1998 when I watched him on KTUU Channel 2 reporting Alaska politics after spending the previous ten years back in my home state of Washington.  He would tell you what really happened in Juneau.  He was also the publisher of the Alaska Standard then I would listen to him on KFQD when I was dispatching cabs in Anchorage.  KFQD terminated him after he refused to stop talking bad about Lisa Murkowski.  This guy smells a rhino and will call you out on your bad character.  Glen Biegel decided to hire him at KBYR around 2011 where you could watch his show on Fox Alaska which was sponsored by McDonald's.  He knows how to ask real questions to people and his nonsense approach to works very well with guest.  One of his frequent guest was Charisee Millette who was defeated by a rhino Josh Revak in 2018. I am glad that Josh did not make the top four to replace the late great Don Young in 2022 when he ran for congress in 2022.

After Rick Rydell left KENI when he applied for a position at Alaska Fish and Game.  KENI hired him for their morning show he would hold the current governor to task.  He continues to tell the truth to residents of South Central Alaska for the next four years.  Recently after he learned of the passing of the late Great Tom Anderson back in March of 2024 .  He approach CBI CEO Tom Steigleman wanting to get back on the radio.  I am glad he is back on the airwaves on KVNT.  I listen to his program every morning since he returned to the airwaves.  I have not called his program since his return.  You can listen to his program on the awesome KVNT on 92.5fm, 1020 am and 104.5fm from 7am to 9am.  By the way to call the program you need to call (907) 802-8812 and leave a message and the call taker will call you back and connect you to him.

I had uploaded three videos two of them are when he was on KBYR in the mornings and you could watch him live on Fox Alaska he broadcasted from their studio on Tudor Road.  The bottom one was when he was on his analysis on the Louisiana Legislature from a local station called KPEL.

If you are a Rhino you do not just get called out by Dan but the author of this blog as well.

The actual mayor of Anchorage

May 14, 2024 voters decided to make Princess Suzi LaFrance the actual mayor of Anchorage.  Here is the truth since Chris Constant a soon to be termed out Assembly person in his Assembly district.  He is the chair of the Anchorage Assembly who actually is really in charge of City Hall.  Suzanne is the figure head who gets the paycheck.  Truth is Chris Constant is the real mayor of Anchorage.  His deputies are Daniel Volland, George Martinez, Karen Bronga, Kameron Perez-Verdia, Anna Brawley, Felix Rivera, Meg Zalatel and Zac Johnson.  Just remember you though you elect Suzanne you actually elect Lord Constant problem to control the city.  Welcome to One Party rule Anchorage.

Princess Suzi will take control of Anchorage at noon on July 1st

Princess Suzi LaFrance won a municipal election for mayor on May 14th against incumbent Dave Bronson to become mayor of Anchorage.  This will also start for one year one party rule in Anchorage. Remember her victory started when she was chair of the Assembly.  She along with most of the members of the Assembly refused to accept ideas from Dave Bronson.  Remember until last Friday, June 28th when SCOTUS struck down Martin vs Boise.  This allows municipalities to regulate public camping on public spaces as they see fit.  The Assembly believed that shelter space should be on the ground instead of a shelter.
