Alaska US Senate candidate Dan Sullivan decides to attend Kodiak debate

After paying attention to this blog Dan Sullivan has decided to attend the Kodiak Fisheries debate.  This is a great decision if you want to win.  As someone who wants Mark Begich to be on the unemployment line in January 2017 so he can either be Barack Obama's Arctic Policy adviser the bad news if Dan Sullivan beats Mark Begich in the fall then Lisa Murkowski will be facing him in 2016.  There are three main industries in Alaska one is Oil and Gas, Tourism and Fisheries.  He understand it is the Alaska natives in the Alaska Bush that will win the elections in the state the major population centers like the Railbelt which is from Seward to Fairbanks.   He already has the Alaska Peninsula, Bristol Bay, Jack Wade Federal Census area.   Alaskans want to participate one thing about the Alaskan natives they vote for familiarity.  Alaska is not a typical red state plus this an independent state not a red or blue state.  This has always been a swing state at statehood this state supported common sense Democrats and then in 1968 and 1980 Alaska started to elect Republicans.  In 1973 in a special election it sent its only Republican house member Don Young  In 1970 it elected its first Republican to the US Senate which was Ted Stevens.  Alaska native elders decide statewide elections if they say vote for Begich they do.  They will do what the tribal leaders say.  We want them to vote for Sullivan.  Some Alaska Native Corporation have endorsed Dan Sullivan already for this position he needs the majority.   It will tell Alaskans you do not care about the major issues affecting Alaskans.  National issues have never defined Alaska races the local issues and industries do.  This will be a great debate for the major candidates hopefully he and Mark Begich can discuss the issues in front of the Kodiak fisherman and listen to their concerns.
