Could the Opioid settlement make Fergie the next Governor of Washington State

Could the $38 billion Opioid settlement which was led by Attorney General Bob Ferguson if Dictator Jay Inslee decides not to seek a 4th term become the next Governor.  He got into fame between 2017-2021 suing Donald Trump Administration every time he proposed a common sense idea and used his judge shopping ways to get the ruling he wants do it that is what Democrats do best.  This is how Chris Gregiore became elected governor in 2004 she was the chief advocate in the tobacco settlement in the 1990's.  Which resulted in the banning of cigarette vending machines required a ban on advertising in print media and required all stores regardless of size to put cigarettes behind the counter to make sure only employees over the current age of 21 was allowed to sell them.  This age of 21 to buy cigarettes written by congress and signed by Trump in 2019.

Let's hope for Washingtonians that Dictator Jay Inslee chooses not to run in 2024.  Then Bob Ferguson would be the front runner for Washington State Governor now his opponent I hope will be Brandi Kruse in the Washington State Governors Race.

Unless common sense Washingtonians can not market Brandi to win the governors race with the keyboard of this blog with his many channels to make her the next governor.

Historically the Attorney General position has always led to a higher office in Washington.   The late Slade Gorton was Attorney General from 1969 to 1981 then defeated a long term incumbent Warren Magnuson who served the state in the US Senate from 1945 to 1980. Served from 1981 to 1986 then was elected again 1988 served from 1989 to 2000.  Chris Gregiore was a three term Attorney General from 1993 to 2005 before being elected Governor. Now Fergie who has served as Attorney General since 2013.  All the Attorney Generals served three terms in their office before getting elected to a higher office.
