It is time to cancel the drag queen story hour in Anchorage

Now beginning July 1, 2021 Sami Graham will become the library director maybe she will cancel drag queen at the Loussac Library.  Remember most of Anchorage do not think this way.  It is time to bring back traditional story time with story board not propaganda.

Starting July 1st Anchorage will have common sense people in charge of Anchorage ideas.  People will be charge instead of the special interest.

Anchorage Assembly refuses to listen to community councils on homeless shelters

 Recently the Anchorage Assembly passed an ordinance that made more places available for shelters.  They refuse to listen to community councils especially the Midtown Anchorage Community Council where most Midtown business do not want these shelters close to their business.  Most of there members do not want it at the Old Alaska club location at 630 E Tudor Road.  There is a coffee stand there called the Common Grounds Coffee Stand which is also the Samantha Koening memorial.  This is where Samantha was last seen alive and the victim that ended Israel Coward Keyes able to kill again.

Have several locations where you can house homeless people in mass quantities is actually better like what the incoming Bronson administration is proposing will be better for Anchorage residents versus smaller shelters with no accountability who is coming and going.  Large shelters you have to ability to offer serves to get them out of that situation.  You can also have caseworkers manage each client through the existing non profits that are there now.  

It is time to listen to the community councils and endorse the Bronson plan it is a solution.  The real reason the Anchorage Assembly opposes this idea they did not think of it first.

Alaska Native Corporations now eligible for Cares Act Money

Alaska Native Corporations are now eligible for Cares Act Funding.  The Supreme Court ruled that Alaska Native Corporations represent Alaska Native people.  They are the Chamber of Commerce for the Alaska Native people they represent.  I wonder how much will Koniag Native Corporation and Akhiok-Kaguyak Native Corporation will get in Cares Act money.  Now Alaska villages can receive Cares Act just like Anchorage. 
 

College athletes can promote products like other athletes now

 Recently the Supreme Court has ruled that college athletes may pursue sponsorship by corporate America.  This will help the athlete get the best exposure before they decide to play professionally or not.  This also will lessen the load of college student debt.   If that athlete gets these sponsorships.  Many college athletes also contribute to the community they represent.  Let's pretend we had a student from the Portland area who was given a scholarship to the University of Oregon to play football.  Nike decided to sponsor him after he did some endorsements for a new brand of cleats they were promoting.  This athlete let say came from a neighborhood in Portland where you have low income youths.  He could create a program with the Boys and Girls Club to promote football in his neighborhood by giving back.  As you know many athletes usually give back to the communities they come from.  After he played four his four years at the University of Oregon he was debt free due to the sponsorships he received from corporate America.  He was 3rd round draft pick for the local NFL team the Seattle Seahawks where he played wide receiver.  This player was able to establish a youth football foundation for children of Portland through the Boys and Girls Club.  The community actually benefits from this Supreme Court not just the athlete and the school.  This also allow the school to offer other scholarships to other students.  College athletics are what most university depend on for income outside of state legislatures annual budget which change each year depending on the tax revenue they receive and who is in charge of the legislative check book that year. 

BROTHER AND UNCLE HELPED HIDE YASER SAID FROM JUSTICE

 Both his son Islam and his brother Yassein helped in hiding Yaser to help him be a coward for the past 12 years until he was captured on August 26, 2020 in the Justin in Denton County a suburb of Dallas.  

Both Islam and Yassein were sentenced for crimes of harboring Yaser.  

Islam pleaded guilty was sentenced to 10 years in prison in April for hiding a coward. 

Yassein was sentenced to 12 years in prison in June for his role for hiding a coward.

I guess it takes a family to do a crime and deny Sarah and Amina Said the ability to lead their own lives as they see fit.

YASER ABDEL SAID HAS BEEN CAPTURED

I found out a couple of weeks ago Yaser Abdel Said the coward of the father was captured by law enforcement in the town of Justin in Denton County a suburb of Dallas on August 26, 2020.

Now that this coward has been on the run for 12 years let hope he will soon face justice for the senseless honor killing of Sarah and Amina Said.  I found out about the capture when watching On the Hunt with John Walsh on HLN a couple of weeks ago.  

Hopefully will receive justice soon.

 Sarah and Amina Said were shot by their father Yaser Abdel Said in the back of his taxi cab in the early morning hours on New Years Day, 2008 at the taxi cab stand at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Irving, Texas west of Dallas.  He had been on the run for 12 years until he was captured on August 26, 2020 in the Denton County town of Justin not far from his home residence of Lewisville.  His brother Yassein and his son Islam allowed him to hide without capture until 2020 when he was captured.

Yaser was captured and is waiting for trial to be sentenced for the killing of his two daughters in an honor killing.  Great job on his capture

Where is Kyron Horman?

Portland Police Bureau, America's Most Wanted and Multi County agencies in the Portland Metropolitian Area. There is now a $50,000 reward in this missing case. He is 15 years old wears and maybe wearing glasses. He was last seen at Skyline Elementary in NW Portland over 10 years ago on June 1st. 

 His step-mother Terri Moulton-Horman may have hired David Anthony Durham to kill him and his remains may be on Suavie Island somewhere.  I also believe that Multnomah County Sheriff knows more than what they are telling us that is why they got a judge to block a civil lawsuit against Terri Moulton-Horman from her mom Desiree Young and her father Kaine Horman  which would have given closure to this case plus they also I think.

UNCLE PLEADS GUILTY OF ASHLEY'S MURDER

Ashley's Uncle Pete has plead guilty to her murder.  We now have justice for this girl who would had been a teenager today enjoy what teenager normally would have done in today's society.

Black Culture has been in the Marion family for nearly 50 years

In celebration of Juneteenth becoming a federal holiday.  I actually support this move.  I would had delayed it implementation for one year til 2022.  It was unfair to give federal workers a day off with little notice.  

 

What this holiday it celebrates the end of Black American Slavery.  Which is a chapter that no type of people should be subject this type of treatment.  It was the British who introduced slavery to the American culture with the settlement of Jamestown in Coastal Virginia.  This continue in the Southern United States this country even fought a civil war over it from 1861-1865.  This was the bloodiest war in American history with blacks fighting on both sides.  We even had American presidents who owned slaves but freed them upon their deaths.  George Washington freed his slaves on December 14, 1799 at his mansion at Mount Vernon where the current capitol is location in Virginia.  Thomas Jefferson freed his slaves at his death on July 4, 1826 at Monticello in the Blue Ridge Mountains area of Virginia.  James Monroe help create an American colony called Liberia which was a Republic controlled by free American slaves.  He wanted freed slaves to be shipped back their at American taxpayer expense.  He insisted that no new slaves were allowed to come from this colony with later became their own republic.  In Thomas Jefferson's presidency we even fought a war against the Ottoman Empire over this issue which Liberia became our first colony.   Eight presidents owned slaves some even advocated for slave holders rights.

Now to the point of this article it was 1972 that the Marion family had been exposed to black culture with a very young aunt Cecila married my Uncle Harold.  He died in 2014 at the age of 86.  Their marriage gave me eight awesome cousins.

In 1980 or 1981 my Aunt Jude married Clifton Morton who everybody in the family called my Uncle Joe.  They gave two awesome cousins named Yolanda and Yvonne.  He passed away at the age of 59 of cancer in 2011.

We need to elect more religious conservatives to political offices

 It is time to elect more religious conservatives to elected to political office.  They are less likely to promote values that are against the bible and less likely to steal your money that you should be getting for selfish purposes.  They also will not propose laws that people are experiments like Critical Race Theory which is really called Critical Racist Theory against White people and propose bad ordinances like allowing people to enter a bathroom of their choice.  In the next election please elect religious conservatives and you will have a better nation for it.  By the way they do not need to a Republican to do that. 

Alaska State Legislature has voted to DeFund Pick Click Give

 With the recent action of the State Senate and State House guess who will suffer the most that will be Alaska non profits.  Many people who have given to Alaska non profits in the past will not have that money to spare this year.  The legislatures voted to DeFund Pick Click Give.  I had to cut $25 from my normal $100 budget I use for pick click give.  Guess who was on the chopping block a Valdez Domestic violence shelter.  I will still give to them anyway just not through this program.  I will send a contribution anyway.  I have decided to continue my annual contribution to Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program, Northstar Community Foundation and World Eskimo Olympics.  The last two were chosen as my 2021 contribution to an Alaska non profits this year.

Lyman Hoffman votes against his people in SW Alaska in a last minute effort to pass state budget

 Lyman Hoffman represents one of the poorest regions of the State of Alaska.  In a last minute effort he decided to tax his residents an additional $3k.  I guess his people who pay the highest gas prices, highest energy.  I guess giving them $3500 this year is not in the cards.  I wonder what the State Senate did to get his vote to tax his people an additional $3k.  Remember not all of your residents can not depend on native corporation dividends.  Remember the regional Bethel native corporations are not very rich.  Lyman it is time for you to be replaced by someone who will not tax you.  This person will that should replace must be a common sense Democrat since most Bush Alaskans will not vote for a Republican unless they have the last names Murkowski or Young.

Bill Wielechowski rather than blame his own political party and members of the State Senate for not paying the peoples share.  He would rather blame the oil companies for not paying for their fair share.  Remember when this person argued in front of the Alaska State Supreme Court he could not state his case to the judges proving my point failed attorney become politicians.  Remember he also believes that special interest should access the money before you do.

The Conference Committee is done and the legislature will vote on the budget probably on Tuesday. The people will get 35% of the statutory PFD, or $1,100 while the oil companies will get 300% of their discretionary refundable tax credits. The total amount of refundable and deductible oil tax credits is roughly $150 million more than the total amount paid for dividends. Put another way, every Alaskan family of four is giving up nearly $5,000 to the oil industry so they can get their tax credits.

Remember how they said the PFD would be “saved” if we voted to let them keep their tax breaks?

 Time for the truth serum the Permanent Fund Dividend was slashed through a veto by former Alaska Governor Bill Walker.  Since then the Alaska State legislature has decided that the PFD is an appropriation which is how the Supreme Court ruled it was.  The state legislature has refused to fund the statutory PFD which has been the calculation since 1982 until 2015.  Who is real at fault here Bill start looking your own political party, Alaska Republican Party and members of your chamber who do not support a full PFD. 

You have also refused use the argument that in order to increase the tax burden the oil companies pay you need to support a statutory PFD to make this happen.  

Bill instead of pointing fingers at the oil industry you need to start blame members of your chamber as well your own political party when the actual blame belongs. 

National Vote by mail will only help Special interest stay in power

Here is the truth about John Lewis voting rights which is HR 4.  It would nationalize vote by mail the problem with this it would eventually lead to one party rule.  Many states that have gone to a complete vote by mail have seen there policies go less to the common person.  Oregon was the 1st state to go complete vote by mail in the 1990's.  Oregon has not had a Republican governor since both US Senators are extremely left of center.  Last Republican US Senator was Gordon Smith who lost a special election in 1996 but won after Mark Hatfield decided to retire.  There have been some Republicans who have won statewide elections in 2018 Dennis Richardson won the election of Secretary of State which is the next person in charge if the Governor dies or resigns.  My home state of Washington started to do vote by mail this process started when a Secretary of State Ralph Munro a Liberal Republican suggested to county auditors should start allowing voters to vote by mail in the 1980's.  Sam Reed his successor really promoted by this idiot both are Republicans.  Current three term secretary of state Kim Wyman a Republican who actually testified against this bill recently.  Washington State counties one by one started to do vote by mail starting in 2005 then in 2008 most counties had voted by mail except in Pierce County where it took a bill by a state senator by the name of Craig Pridemore out of Clark County to close that county's polling places in 2011.  

 

The Anchorage Assembly voted 9-2 on September 28, 2016 the ordinance was signed by Ethan Berkowitz this was suppose to be in effect in 2017 but due to technicalities it was delayed til 2018.  The truth here is Anchorage Assembly was 9-2 before vote by mail.  This method kept that in place.  You could say that during Mayor Condon's term in Spokane and current mayor Nadine Woodward have a 6-1 progressive city council since 2011.  However every so often this method still does not change rural area elections.  Eagle River and Chugiak still have two conservative assembly people.  Most rural counties still are dominated by GOP lawmakers this even includes Eastern Washington's largest county Spokane even though it does have a Democrat district the 3rd legislative which has not elected a Republican since the late John Moyer served one term in the state senate from 1993-1997.  Which is why Spokane has a progressive city council.  Both of Eastern Washington's congress representatives are Republicans if we do not include my adopted hometown county of Kittitas, Chelan and the East Wenatchee part of Douglas County.  This flipped due to population trends in Issaquah, my hometown of Snoqualmie Valley and Auburn however the rest of the district voted for the Republican candidate due to the retirement of Dave Reichert in 2018 and 2020 election cycles.  This district was drawn to kept Dave in power.  In Anchorage in a recent run off election last month in May and along with the Save Anchorage movement.  Anchorage elected Dave Bronson a concerned citizen over an experienced politician by the name of Forrest Dunbar.  We need to end or stop national vote by mail as much as we can.  Vote by mail is Un-American it goes against people choosing their own people to elect them. Vote by mail benefits special interest not you.  Example look at Washington and Oregon you wonder why.

Last year in 2020 two Republican candidates Stephen Duplantis and Stephen Wright had decided to become crybabies and do write in campaigns instead endorsing the opponents of their incumbents.  

 

In SW Anchorage had Stephen endorsed Roselynn Cacy the real PFD Defender in that race.  Roselynn would had won that race would had been on the same page as Bill Wielechowski he would had an friend in his own party.  He is finding an unusual friend in Liz Snyder who voted for a full PFD she had to replace a real PFD Defender Gabrielle Ledoux who was defeated by David Nelson in a primary who may have a problem with reelection because Lyn Franks has filed again for his seat.  She is also a PFD defender will not vote with party like David Nelson has done.

In Wasilla if Stephen Wright had endorse Thomas Lamb the Libertarian or Dan Mayfield this would have also given Bill another friend in the state senate to pass a statutory PFD.

 Soon your Covid-19 vaccination records will be become as popular and mandatory as your social security card is today.  It will be required for you obtain services and hold a job.  Remember it was not til the 1930's that the Social Security Card was invented for the purpose of tracking everybody.  Everyone in the United States is required to have a social security card and soon this will also go for your CDC Covid-19 vaccination records.  Basically in a couple of years time no shot no job no housing.  You have to live off the grid in order not to get this shot.

 The real reason most places in the United States have waiting list for severe Autism Spectrum Disorder patients.

Now days most classroom teachers and pediatricians want to prescribe medication over the love of a parents.  Medications like Ritalin and other psychological drugs actually prevent the developing brain from growing properly during the time of the child's development.  The real reason for this allows the parent to claim the child and put them on permanent Supplementary Social Security Income which actually prevents them from becoming productive members of society.  Usually the child's teacher makes this recommendation so they can justify the student to put in special education which brings more money in the school district for that child.  The federal government pays more for special education students over the regular students.  This also make more revenue for the drug companies and the pediatricians who prescribe this drug to the student which prohibits creativity and expression of the child.  The teachers teach these students they will not be productive in society and they must depend on the government to function in society.  

You would have less children waiting for services if the parents are more involved in a child's education and services.  This allows the special needs child to develop and flourish.  They become a more functioning adult.  The best thing for a parent of a special needs child is to say no to the special education teachers when they insist that the child be given medication to flourish.  Remember allowing the child the ability to have expression is the only way to prevent the special needs child from becoming a statistic and a burden to the taxpayer.
