It is time to legalize marijuana nationwide. Congress and US Senate

Voters across the country are starting to legalize recreational marijuana for personal use.  It started in two states in 2012 my home state of Washington and Colorado in 2014 the regulation was put into effect. Some states like Alaska had legalized the recreational use of marijuana until 1990 when the Bush 41 administration pressured states to change their laws criminalizing in exchange for criminal justice funds.  The state I currently live in Alaska voters voted to legalize recreational marijuana which in 2016 the regulation was put into effect.  Right now there are five states where marijuana is forbidden for medical and recreational use they are Idaho, Wyoming, Kansas, Tennessee Alabama and South Carolina.  If we pass a national act making recreational and medical marijuana legal it will stop and reduce unnecessary incarcerations of innocent people who will want to have enjoy smoking marijuana like a cigarette or use it to help deal with pain.  Do to the legalization of recreational marijuana congress decided last year to raise the minimum age to buy cigarettes to age 21.  Please call your congress and US Senators and tell them you want a nationwide legalization of marijuana for recreational and medical use today.
