Tragedy at Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington State

Yesterday, October 24, 2014 a mentally disturbed freshman boy went into the Marysville-Pilchuck High School went into the cafeteria during the lunch period around 10:49 PDT and shot himself his ex girl friend, a few of his female friends and his friend.  This Freshman homecoming king had just been selected homecoming king two weeks prior he could not get over a break of a relationship with a girl.  Their probably was not any guidance from the high school on this issue.  He also was suspended for behavioral issues a week ago from school.  This also involves a Tuliap tribal member.  Question is where was his family, the tribe and school on this.  Was suspending him from school the right decision?  What was his punishment that warranted Out of School suspension?  Maybe Washington State Education Association is to blame for this shooting since they do not believe in the student only as a stat on paper.  We need to pray for the shooters family and the victims of this tragedy.  This is not the first school shooting in Washington State back in 1996 Barry Loukaitis went into Frontier Middle School in Moses Lake and killed his algebra teacher.  He is currently serving a life sentence at Walla Walla prison. Currently Providence Medical Center in Everett reports 3 out of 4 victims have serious head injuries.  Tune into KIRO FM and any local Seattle station for continuing coverage of this tragedy.
