Krispy Kreme has finally made it to Alaska

August 30th, 2016 Krispy Kreme has made it to Alaska.  Now you can eat fresh Krispy Kreme donuts that are not a day old because they are baked in a bakery in the Lower 48.  I hear they make donuts like McDonald's make hamburgers 60 years ago.  Come to the corner of Muldoon and Debarr in Anchorage across from Fred Meyer and patronize this business.

Make all Alaska elections vote by mail

Here is the least cost efficient way to make elections smoother in Alaska.  I never thought I would be endorsing this idea after speaking against for 15 years.  Washington State after a very close governors race each county had started to get rid of their polling place with the last polls closed in 2011 by legislative action in Pierce County.  Kittitas County closed their polling places in 2008.  Here in Alaska since each borough only has a county clerk does not deal with state elections.  With a vote by mail since Alaska has party registration system which needs to be scrapped in my opinion.  Government should have no business getting this information or a political party be allowed to close their primary.  We also should have all the candidates on one ballot.  We have raced that decided in the primary that should automatically go to the general election.  Top Two primary system takes care of this.  You mail the correct ballot to the voter the voter mails the ballot to a central Juneau mailbox.
