The recent Anchorage officer shooting is another reason to repeal SB 91 in Alaska

This suspect is fault of SB 91 which is catch and release criminal prosecution he was booked and release on March 18th, 2019 according to my friends at KTVA he has been a criminal for the last two years was either a fisherman or cannery worker with criminal records in Unalaska, Kodiak and Anchorage.  Before he was shot by Anchorage Police Officer for brandishing a look alike bee bee gun.  Police Officers have seconds to respond to a situation and if the,   suspect refuses to follow instruction and brandished a look like weapon then the officer has to think of safety of community and himself over having to wait a couple of seconds what if that was a real gun.  Recently in my adopted hometown county of Kittitas County we just mourned an sheriffs deputy and another is recovering from a suspect.  It is better to think of safety or instead of waiting and we are having a funeral of a police officer instead being safe.  Please tell your legislature to repeal SB 91 now. Catch and release is for fishing and not fighting crime.

Berkowitz responsible drinker tax nearly failing

As of election polling closing time in Anchorage April 2, 2019 Prop 9 aka as Berkowitz Responsible Drinkers Tax to fund Addicts is narrowly failing by 2000 votes.  Hopefully this will widen and flip two Assembly races and two school board races along with it.

Nees and Binkley Sims trailing their opponents in Anchorage School Board Races

As of poll closing time on April 2, 2019 both David Nees and Kai Binkley Sims were losing to their main opponents between four and five thousand votes in their school board races

Kai Binkley Sims is currently losing to Margo Bellamy by over four thousand votes.

David Nees is losing by five thousand votes to Starr Marsett here is the interesting note the Nowhere candidate Ron Stafford occupies 3,328 could Ron be the reason David lost.

Let's hope the No on Anchorage Proposition Nine flips these races and the Special interest do not win here.

Crystal Kennedy winning her Assembly seat in Chugiak-Eagle River Assembly race

With results already counted as of election closing time on April 2, 2019 Anchorage Municipal Election.  Crystal is leading by over a thousand votes of Oliver Schiess.  I predicted that Chugiak and Eagle River would return a common sense person since the Assembly appointed Gretchen Wehmhoff who did not fit the region or its politics.
