Here is my prediction is that Dan Sullivan and Mary Peltola the real question who are the other two names.  Plus we also have to look to who is at number 5 and 6 in case someone at the top four drops out.  
 

Out of State Special Interest Group pushing people in Alaska US Senate Race

 An out of state group called Right for Alaska based in Wisconsin is promoting two candidates to possibly be in Alaska's final four primary in the United State Senate race.  

Gerald Heikes is a Palmer resident who has filed many times for public office and does not raise any money.  I also remember an interview in 2022 when Tom Anderson tried to ask him questions he refused to answer his questions when Gerald called him to promote his no budget congressional campaign which some while I direct messaging him during the show.

The other candidate is Earl also known as Skip Southworth who is a fisherman and former city councilman from Unalaska.  My advice he probably would have done better as a candidate for state house or state senate due to fact you probably do not need a website to win.

 

Please do not support candidates who can not support themselves or make an effort to campaign.  Remember Fight for Alaska is probably an organization headquartered in an mail box somewhere in Wisconsin has 49 other organizations with losing campaigns 

DEMOCRAT SOCIALIST OF AMERICA IS FUNDING OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES IN ALASKA US SENATE RACE

 

Yes we have two candidates in the Alaska US Senate race are funded by the Democrat Socialist of America.  They are Richard Grayson and Carol (Kitty) Hafner from Apache Junction, Arizona and Box Elder, South Dakota.  

The idea of the Democrat Socialist of America is to attempt to make it so Dan Sullivan the US Senate Incumbent not make the Alaska State Primary on August 18th.  Most Alaskans I believe will only advance Mary Peltola and Dan Sullivan in the Alaska Primary.

 We known that Alexandria Ocosta Cortez and Bernie Sanders want Alaska to be Americas National park they refuse to allow Alaska to develop the way Alaska wants to develop.

SPOKANE CONTINUES TO BURN DUE TO EXTREME ENVIRONMENTALIST POLICIES

 Since a man started a fire on Saturday, August 1, 2026.  The real reason this fire has dropped and spreaded so fast between houses.  Since 1992 Democrats have controlled the Commissioner of Public Lands has had a policy to refusing to thin the forest by allowing logging in their lands so that Woodsy can have a home.  They also have caved into environmentalist by killing the logging industry.  Pray for the victims of the Spokane area fires hopefully this guy will enjoy the rest of his days at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla for the rest of his living days.

Do not estimate the power of these two ladies getting to the final four.  Lesil during her legislative career has always worked both sides of the aisle as a Republican in West Anchorage in the state senate.  She also has the spirit of Tom Anderson the first host of KVNT Morning Show from 2013 til his death in 2024.  He is the father of her child Grayson would be awesome as the first son of Alaska.  Imagine also the granddaughter of Bill Sheffield elected her family has experience in office.  He was Governor from 1982 to and only served one term.  

 

 

 

 

Lesil's Lt Governor choice is Sara Rasmussen she is is the Granddaughter of Don Smith the author of Anchorage Property Tax Cap.  

During her brief legislative career she also worked both sides of the aisle to get the job done.  She was a champion in the rights of peoples rights made it harder to have people send them revenge porn.

Yes Lesil entered at the last minute did a ticket switch to get more supporters.  She also was the Chair of the Arctic Policy during her time in the legislature is passionate about Arctic issues remember Alaska Natives decide statewide races not the Alaska Railbelt.  

Sara is 20 years younger and is very youthful could actually bring youth to the Alaska Division of Elections.  

Plus she could out do Bernadette Wilson in any election.  

She already has the endorsement of East Anchorage current Democrat representative Andrew Gray.

Yes it is true Fred Flintstone actually lives in North Bend.  Dino everyday welcomes people to town everyday.  I wonder if Wilma shops at Safeway or QFC and occasionally at other stores in the Snoqualmie Valley.  I guess you Wilma with Pebbles and Betty with Bam Bam then you know you are in the right town.  

East Anchorage residents can start a recall campaign against George Martinez, Jr on August 31st

 

 This was originally written on July 8th, 2026 while waiting for a flight overnight at Sea-Tac Airport after listening to the Assembly meeting on the subject while waiting for my first flight 

According to Anchorage Municipal Charter the people of East Anchorage can not start a recall campaign against this piece of garbage Assemblyman named George Martinez, Jr until August 31st.  George needs to resign to keep East Anchorage moving forward.  You can call him at (907) 343-4120 or e-mail him at George.Martinez2@anchorageak.gov and tell him to resign today.  

He betrayed the people of East Anchorage by being dishonest and has been double dipping and promoting the Anchorage Assembly to profit financially for himself.  If we are successful in removing him then there will be a special election to replace an Assemblyman as well as mayor.  Just remember George you resign you get to run your own business without having to report your income.  

 

People of East Anchorage have asked him to resign in public at the Muldoon Community Market between 9:30am to 3pm where you can rap your resignation speech.  

Just ask Cal the stage manager he will hand you the microphone then just remember if you resign then you can come in ten years and nobody will remember what you did while you are in office while on the Assembly starting in 2023-2026.

Voters in Idaho will decide if WA Border counties Planned Parenthood will no longer need to fund Idaho clients for abortion

Since June 2022 Governor Jay Inslee has allowed Washington State Border Counties of Pend Orielle, Stevens, Spokane, Whitman, Asotin, Columbia and Garfield Counties taxpayers to pay for abortions from Idaho residents especially those who came from Kootenai, Boundary, Bonner, Benewah, Latah and Nez Perce Counties.

 

Idaho United for Women and Families was able to get enough signatures for Idaho voters to decide on November 3rd to keep Idaho closed to abortion or allow Planned Parenthood to establish clinics again in Post Falls, Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Moscow, Bonners Ferry and Lewiston.  

 

Idaho voters will ultimately decide if the border counties will continue to accept patients for abortion or establish their own clinics.

Muldoon Community Market will be open today on Independence Day to honor America 250

 Muldoon Community Market will be open from 9:30am to 3:00pm.  There is no bus service today.  If you are not within walking distance you will need to find alternative transport by vehicle.  If you have no ability to use a car you have to either phone a friend, book a taxi or Uber or Lyft.  The Muldoon Town Square Park is located on the east side of the street between the Muldoon Mall.  You can park at the mall parking which is what the market prefers then head to the trail to the south.  For a list of vendors go to this link.  https://www.muldooncommunitymarket.org/ If there is a produce vendor they all take Electronic Benefits Transfer a requirement of the market.  Some take credit cards and some do not depends on the vendor. Alaska needs to start funding public transportation to allow citizens to use the bus on the holidays

 Alaska needs to start funding public transportation.  Most other states have buses running on major holidays using on a weekend schedule.  Here in Alaska public buses do not run on major holiday.  This requires those who no driver ability to either take a taxi or ask family members to transport them or force to stay home.   Please call your state representative and tell them you want the state funding of public buses

It is time for East Anchorage to remove George Martinez from office

 

Last April a majority of East Anchorage residents decided that George Martinez, Jr should serve another three year term.

East Anchorage District 5 had a chance to elect someone with transparency by the name of Cody Anderson.  

 

Here are the options we have in this district has George can take the high road and resign his seat then people in East Anchorage can select someone to fill the remainder of his term.   

 

The people of East Anchorage can file a recall petition to remove him from office by collecting signatures and have a recall election.  My prediction unlike Felix Rivera and Meg Zalatel in Assembly District 4 in 2021 where the charges are more concrete misuse of funds versus a disagreement in procedure.  If he does not survive the Municipal Charter does not bar him from running again to fill his seat again if elected.  You can not bring same charge to remove him again.  My prediction is he will not survive recall election. 

 

Remember George is a member of the Democratic Socialist of America who do not believe in defeat of crazy ideas.

 For the past three years East Anchorage has had a leader who has raised grocery prices, believes the bus shelter is the homeless shelter.  His name is George Martinez, Jr.  He does not listen to people of his district. He has moved his district backward not forward.  

Cody listens to the people of Anchorage.  He will make it less expensive for the people of East Anchorage by dealing with crime in East Anchorage this will lower grocery prices.  He will make it so homeless people will have to go to a shelter or go to jail.  Remember it is the homeless are mostly responsible for the shoplifting.  I see this everyday as a Customer Host at Debarr Walmart.

It is time to vote no on Anchorage Special Anchorage School District Vote

 

Anchorage we need to vote no on the Special Election because the Anchorage School District has mismanaged  their money.  Here is the truth there budget is 2 and 1/2 times the Anchorage Municipal budget.  They are a subdivision of the Municipality of Anchorage they need to be 3/4 of the municipal budget.  Anchorage School District funding needs to be user based.  If they need to just tax the enrolled kids only.  If the taxpayer enrolls the child in private school that money should go to the private school and if the taxpayer home school the child then taxpayer should not have to pay that portion of the bill.  My little brother Jim who home schools his children has to pay property tax a school district that does not teach his children would be willing to pay an athletic fee for his children to participate in that districts sports.  I remember back in 2016 the Wenatchee School District asked them to enroll Christina as a Panther.  He told them do you know who my older brother unless you want him to blog about how you to refuse to allow his niece Christina to allow her to participate in the track unless I had her take some public school classes.  He pulled out my blog they said Mr Marion she can.  Christina at age 18 and Daniel at age 17 was on the Dean List at Wenatchee Valley College.  She earned a degree at age 18.  Here are the links to their items.  https://www.wvc.edu/news/2015-16/graduates.aspx and https://www.wvc.edu/news/2015-16/winterpresidentslist.aspx His property tax money to the Wenatchee School District should have gone to Wenatchee Valley College for both of his kids.  Money needs to follow the kid.

Legislatures can meet remotely for all Alaska sessions

Every legislator can meet remotely and stay in their communities they represent.  This will make it easier for each legislator to be accessible to their community.  The only times the legislators should meet together is when a member of the congressional delegation visits the legislature and twice a year when the governor makes a speech to the body.  

Imagine five times a year the legislature meeting at the Alaska Airlines Center when members of congress and the governor speaks to the legislature.  

 

Rest of the legislature can meet remote at the legislative office closest to where they live an example.  Senator Jesse Bjorkman can meet at the Kenai Legislative Information office and  Representative Jeremy Bynum can meet at the Ketchikan Legislative Information office.  This makes each legislature more accessible to the people they represent.  COVID-19 proved that people can meet remotely and be closer to the people.  This will save Alaska taxpayers money in capitol meeting expenses.

The real reason school children are asking to not have cell phones in the classroom

The real reason many school districts across the United States have decided to no longer allow cell phones in the classroom.  Sometimes these devices can be distracting to students while the teacher is trying to teach the class.  The student could be contact someone on social media or consider it an electronic way of passing a note.  The only problem is the teacher is not able to confiscate the text to make the student read it out loud to the class.  A lot of teachers are now requiring the student to put the cell phone in a basket at the beginning of class then will hand it back at the end of class.  Some parents have felt this is an issue since they are not able to get a hold of their children during the school day.  The truth is most schools still have a landline telephone to contact the school and still use a public address system to notify the student if they need to come to office in an emergency.  Remember the student is their to learn not to be distracted.  Plus this also prevents the student from cheating on their tests or work assignments.  The other reason is some teachers have felt that a student may film independently a teacher making a statement about issue with maybe the parent disagrees with the subject the teacher is teaching in the class.  Remember most public schools in at least one class I would attend the principal would quietly sit in a class to observe the way the teacher was teaching the class.  Many school districts want their teachers to able to teach without outside interference. I support that children not having cell phone on their person and is giving back to the student by the end of the day.

In the middle school and high school the student would hand it over to the teacher in the home room that is the first period of the day in a school day.   
 

Dustin Darden not qualified for any elected office

Dustin Darden as a school board member would be like Theresa Obermeyer will be recalled if elected.  I could see him that be in left field on an issue dealing with the school board issue.  He has been thrown out of Assembly meetings for not being on topic.  Let's say it is about teacher contracts and he is talking about god and Jesus.  He has prevented Liz Vazquez from returning to politics many times over in fact in 2019 West Anchorage Assembly race his results allowed Kameron Perez-Verdia to win over Liz he got 9 percent would had put it in a close election.  Kameron received 6,161 votes, Liz received 4,852.  Dustin received 1,077 votes.  Had he not been in that race.  Kameron may have won by only by over 300 votes instead.  Imagine the Anchorage Assembly had Liz being elected in 2020.

East Anchorage Senator Bill Wielechowski supports moving the legislative sessions to Anchorage

 As of yesterday Bill Wielecowski he told me that having the session at the Wells Fargo Building would be better for him.  He told me while returning a space heater at my work while leaving the store.  I asked him why he did not go to Wasilla in 2019 he said that was unconstitutional and I told him it was not. 

Time to single district the Anchorage School Board

Now that Two for all passed in the Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 municipal election.  We need to put six of the seven Anchorage School Board members in a single district.  One member will be at large and run in 2030 the same time as the mayor.  What we could do have all 7 members of school board run for election in 2028.  Seats A, B and C will run for a regular three year term this will cover Assembly Districts 1, 2 and 3.  Seats D, E and F will cover Assembly districts 4, 5 and 6.  The will run for a one year term then in 2029 will run for a full three year term.  Seat G  will run a two year old term in 2028.  Then in 2030 run additional three year term.  We could also make it so the at large district person is paid more and is also the chair of the school board.  This makes so the people choose the chair of the school board not the school board.  Now let's put more accountability in our school board by having them represent the neighborhood instead of having them campaign the whole city for a school board seat.  Have each school member be as neighborly as an Assembly member.
